Story

Molly Malones Irish Pub encapsulates the authentic Irish atmosphere, bringing a considerable slice of Ireland to Townsville, North Queensland. With four different venues, Molly Malones Irish Pub presents an entertaining complex catering for all, from the grand craic at Molly’s as well as the now opened The Deck upstairs. A new cocktail bar Pick & Shovel Craft Bar has also been opened.

Located in Flinders St East, the restaurant and nightlife precinct of Townsville city, Molly Malones is an authentic taste of Ireland right in the heart of Townsville.

Saw a few bands upstairs last week. Great pub with lots of different areas, an outdoor seating area on the street, inside seating near the main bar, a pool room and an upstairs room and balcony. I would love to go back and eat next time. The photos show the views from the balcony.Service: 4/5

I booked “The Deck” for a private engagement party and I highly recommend it. The staff were amazing as well as the venue. There were no faults on the night and everyone is talking about how much fun we all had. I’ll definitely be booking another function here
Booked a space for an event and it was great! Staff were amazing to deal with in the lead up and on the night. Food was plentiful and yum! Would definitely recommend for an event!
we recently celebrated our son's 21st on The Deck at Molly Malones & what a great night it was! from the booking of the function to the final details of planning the experience with Naomi was outstanding & was met with great professionalism & communication. Love this place! Have had many private functions here and they go above and beyond. The staff are amazing and so is the food and venue.
We went to see a friend play in a band. There was a $10 cover charge which we didn't know about. Then the first two drinks were over $24. We talking standards. This place is too expensive. Band was good and there are different rooms you can go into for more bars and different music.Food: 3/5
Molly's can be a bit of all things to all people. It's clean, smart Irish themed doctor is the perfect backdrop for a nice quite drink and a meal...but at weekends, it turns into a lively, music venue...perfect way to dance into the night.Food: 5/5
Chill vibe and welcoming atmosphere, lovely $9 pint of Guinness on tap. Not too crowded and plenty of seating. The bar girl who served us was super nice and friendly.
Enjoyed some great live music, a Kilkenny and a few whiskies. The Glendronach is a great drop! We also gave the margaritas a go but they weren't so good. The bourbon BBQ wings were really good.
