Cornwall Park is an absolute gem in the heart of Auckland, offering a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The park is beautifully maintained, with sprawling green lawns, stunning flower gardens, and majestic trees that provide ample shade for a relaxing day out.nnThe walking and cycling trails are fantastic, catering to all fitness levels. A highlight is the summit of One Tree Hill, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of Auckland. It’s a rewarding spot for anyone who enjoys a scenic hike.
Beautiful park near the center of city. Plenty parking, not so many people. It was surprising to see many cows eating grass so peacefully. Although it is located in the perfect place and greatly managed, it seems a bit boring for the tourist attraction.
Cornwall Park is famous for its Cherry Blossom season Late Sep to Mid October as well as just a peaceful place for a walk or a picnic. We went for a picnic this year and wanted to enjoy the cherry blossom at the same time. Highly recommend, parking is limited when it comes to the weekend.
