Had the turmeric eggs and the lamb salad, both were delicious. Also had a bloody Mary which was refreshing and spicy just as they should be. Attentive and friendly staff. Would definitely go back

Not sure playing techno on a Sunday for lunch is the nicest ambience to have in a cafe on a relaxing day. Service wasn't as attentive as you would like when you are the only customers and I had to prompt them to take my drink order. Otherwise the coffee was very good and the smalk cafe setup works well.
Great little find in Northcote. Funky cafe, well laid out, friendly staff. We'll be back.
Food was great, customer service was terrible. Whilst we were sitting outside, at least one person walked in.....didnt get served and went to the cafe across the road. Just a friendly smile and a hello would suffice. Sat there for 10 minutes before being offered a menu. Not in a hurry to return, sorry!.
This great little cafe dishes up fantastic brekky and coffee. Awesome staff make sure the vibes are always friendly and welcoming. The cafe features the “Skip” app, allowing you to order you coffee ahead of time if you’re on the go.
Really creative food in a lovely place. Nice sunshine.
