Typical Brunch place. Excellent friendly and prompt service, delicious interesting menu. Bonus points to Value for money here too, which most items being under the $16 mark!
I came here for breakfast last weekend. The place wasn't even half full but it took over an hour from arriving to when we got our food a basic breakfast that would usually take 10-15 minutes. We were not warned at any point that there was going to be a delay. When we asked if it would be long we were told it would come soon but still another 10 mins before it came. Other customers were looking frustrated and complaining. My first selection from the menu wasn't available. They got part of our order wrong. The food was OK, but I had to rush because of the long wait and couldn't enjoy it.
I had a soy chai latte which was served with a very cute honey pot. The menu looks yum I'll be coming back to try the food!
A disappointing brunch, packed eggs over cooked and vinegary. Hollandaise very heavy- no tarragon hints as described on the menu. Below average latte with double the expected amount of froth. The toilet was really grotty-a bad way to finish an experience! Nice asthetic, ok service. Certainly wouldn't return though. Surprised as a few years ago it was quite the spot!
Great food at good prices. The only negative would be the cigarette smoke blowing in from the smokers in the courtyard. Even so, I'd have given 5 stars if you guys offered almond milk!!
I like the courtyard and Gypsy is a really solid choice when everyone else is packed on the weekends. Really generous meal sizes/prices. I'm always happily stuffed. I don't love the little stools, and your plants could do with a water, but that's just being picky! Thanks Gypsy
Lovely server, but our brunch took an hour. They only had one chef on who seemed to be new and who wasn't receiving good direction. Seemed to be a problem of poor management.
These guys always serve with a smile and get your order out to you super quickly, even when it's busy. Beautiful setting and fabulous coffee
Wonderful and cheerful staff. The menu reflects the seasons and the cold drip coffee is still the best coffee in Melbourne.
Great little place in the Westgarth shopping strip. Food is good quality and fresh. Plenty of outdoor seating as well both out the front as well as the large backyard.
