Came in early and ready (with original/photocopies of requirements) to apply for passport renewal. Verification and payment to the cashier was quick. However, taking of passport photo took long as expected (more than an hour). Why they just don’t accept passport photo taken no more than six (6) months and that met the photo requirements for the application? Also, they should consider accepting credit cards as payments and not just “Cash only”.

pa shout out po para sa mga kagawad ng DFA sa Sydney! I came on a Monday and it’s a busy day. I’m number 51 on queue with a limited time. I asked the gentleman in front if my number can be accomplished.He said yes! and I say I have a 2pm return flight and He acted on my application straight away. Thank you very much Sir! and to the whole staff.

For the people First time to renew passport (e-passport). In Website, it says many requiremets but actually you Don't need such as police clearance, self registrate envelope. Just bring ur self, old or currently passport copy of front, visa page, and last page , copy of grant visa or VEVO and birth certificate. If u Don't have time to photocopy, u can xerox inside only 20 cents. So Don't worry. U can fill up the application when u entered. I recommend come earlier so ur paper work finish earlier. When u enter. Get number ticket and wait until ur turn coming. When ur turn coming, give requirements and passport at Staff then pay. Maybe ＄108. (2018/02/05) After that, show recept to staff Again then wait until ur name call for taking passport photo. They explain to u more when ur turn. Its based on my experience. Im not sure for others so I Don't take claims or any stuff from u . If u have more question, ask or call the consulate. Im just share my opinion. Sorry my English is awful, its my 3rd language so if u Can't understand Sorry. I hope u can get ur new passport with no problems. Thanx...

Unfortunately the reviews here are right about no one picking up the phone. But I went to their location to ask about Passport validity to enter Manila(6months before it expires)As my Australian Passport will expire in 4-5 months and they answered my question and concerns quickly. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. If you have an Australian passport and are below the 6 month validity rule. It doesnt matter as long as your passport is valid till the day you leave the philippines

Pls improve the communication services Phone service in particular as no one ever picks up the phone. It is so frustrating to contact the office just to make a very simple enquiry.
