I believe that the staff is not trained well when it comes to reply to their customers. Their communication style is very inappropriate.

Staff not trained at all, been told a couple of weeks ago verbally what papers I need to bring in order to obtain a Romanian birth certificate for my daughter, went today and been told slightly different, and been blamed that I didn’t listen carefully when I come the first time, am thinking now if I want a Romanian birth certificate or not!!!

Remember to make a booking through the website consulat.ro to get any paperwork done! There is an emergency number if need be. Otherwise turn up to the office, ready to need to return at a later date when the paperwork has been prepared for you. I have found the consulate very helpful, as much as it can be, working within the law, on the other side of the world. The office hours are actually 10.30-4.30! Mulțumesc consulatul!

Terrible.. no one answers the phone and when contracted by email or the new portal econsulat.ro there's no update.. Cele mai groaznice servicii consulare posibile..
