There are no words to describe how bad my experience is dealing with getting a visa for my husband. Every single document was provided and done so perfectly and they still wanted more. When asking exactly what they needed they NEVER responded to my email I even went to the consulate to verify what exactly was wrong with my documents i couldn’t get passed security to get my answer. So I’m left not knowing was it wrong and have to withdraw my application after sending 6 emails, so we can get his passport back. If these people think they can treat people with such disrespect and attitude they are getting it wrong. We are hard working people who wanted to enjoy a holiday and due to their laziness and sheer arrogance we cannot.

This review board should have designed a negative score specially for France Consulate Sydney !!! These weirdos do not want to communicate with people; For a short Stay Visa application, they require you to submit your application exclusively through post, so you have to express post your passport to their office although you are located only 2 streets away from their office. After you post your passport, you will soon be in nightmare, because you will have no contact point to track your application progress; The contact number provided on their website is only a joke; no one would answer your call - if you dial it, the recording message instructs you to press 1 for visa application and then after you press 1, the same message repeats and repeats, trapping you in this loop forever. Blind waiting in horror will make you regret why you have posted your passport to them, simply rule it out from your itineraries instead. Cannot believe how a Nation can survive in today's globalised world with their such an arrogant attitude; Are they from the last centuries?

Initially I was worried after seeing so many negative reviews, but I will say I got relatively happy experience in applying my French-Polynesia visa. You will be fine as long as you strictly follow the online instructions and get all necessary documents prepared. The only thing I would complain is the online visa tracking system, kind of slack. Up till 7th day, it kept saying "the information entered does not relate to any applications being processed"... Thank goodness this status turned into "A decision has been reached" on 8th day. And finally I got my passport back on the 13th day from the date of submission. I did not reach them by phone, but all staff I met in person were friendly and helpful. Advice for first time applicant: start earlier! Because you have to queue in line to make an appointment. No appointment, no application.

Very bad service how come i have Australia passport ( travel document ) I apply for visa the man he was talk to me he Throw the passport in front of me. He said your information not enough. And then i get another appointment i done all information and then i paid for visa after 3 weeks i got refused all i need to visit my cousin and enjoy in Christmas with family. I ask to all on here what should I do please ?
