100% recommend. Wonderful staff, down to earth and very comfortable store. Plenty of options for bridesmaids/formal wear. Could not thank the staff enough they were very friendly and helpful, particularly with helping my grandmother whose a bit older and struggles physically. Thank you to Emily and the team, you are a dream!

You'd think if a business knew their product, knew their suppliers and were organised with incoming orders that they'd be able to effectively communicate to the customer. What a joke!! 😂😂😂 Tried to ruin a wedding and attempted personal attacks on the customer. Her comments say more about her. Not a very nice person to deal with after she has taken your money. Complaints are being lodged with fair trading.

Dealing with Confetti turned into a nightmare, due to lack of communication, disorganisation, and unwillingness to accept responsibility. Up front, communication was super friendly, she promised the world, and this is what the reviews all seemed to show. We started planning March 2016, for a late October wedding. This gave Confetti and Emily (owner), 7 months to arrange the items required. All of which were promised wouldn’t be a problem. As time went on, everything got worse. First was the Bride and Bridesmaid dresses. The dresses themselves looked great, but incorrectly measured, and required extensive alterations, which had to be arranged and paid for separately. It was obvious by the time we looked into ordering vests, that Emily has no idea how to do measurements correctly. However, for a separate reason, we ended up getting vests elsewhere. It wasn't until August that we started to see real problems. Lack of communication, returning calls and responding to social media messages, all of which went completely silent by the end of August. For the next few weeks we visited the shop a couple times, attempting to track down Emily without luck, as she was either not there, or the shop was closed. Finally, at the end of September we had enough, as there was only 3 weeks to go until the wedding, and we had still not heard anything back from Emily. Upon entering the store, the first thing we noticed was the power was off, as was the phone, but only to that one store on the block. The excuse was the light fitting, but light fitting doesn't require everything to be shut off, especially when there's no actual work being done, or any tradesmen nearby. Unfortunately, the employee in the store could not find our order on the computer, or a hard copy in the folders. It seems we didn't exist. Apparently, this was a common thing, as "Emily keeps everything in her head". After this, we were getting really worried, so I said we needed to speak to Emily before we leave the store. Eventually the employee got through, and we had a rather unpleasant phone call. All I heard were excuses when I asked where everything was. There was no order, no proof (Emily admitted that everything was in her head), there were no items she could show me. After explaining this wasn't acceptable to us, with only 3 weeks left, eventually she offered a refund, which she would later renege upon. We left the store, trying to work out what to do now. Not a good feeling with three weeks to go until your very expensive and well planned event. The next week was spent trying to find an alternative planner, able to fit us in with only three weeks’ notice. During this time, we noticed that we weren’t the only people to experience this problem. We studied reviews, checked with people in the industry as well as friends. It seems all Confetti’s positive reviews revolved around her up-front friendliness, however, all the actual reviews of service were terrible and often met with Emily’s fierce rebuttal. Not a single person, from online reviews, business contacts, friends and family we spoke to had a nice thing to say about Confetti. After finding someone else to organise our wedding, we attempted again for the refund Emily promised, but were told we wouldn’t be getting one. We were quickly losing options. Finally, we were discussing this with Sonya from Cherub’s Flowers, whom we met through Emily to arrange the flowers, she promised to sort Emily out and get the ball rolling. Saying we will have nothing to worry about. By this stage we had little choice anyway. Thankfully even though different than what we had originally arranged, Sonya managed to get everything done on the day, and the day was wonderful. Since our wedding, we have heard even more horror stories, and the list keeps getting longer. It is evident that Emily has terribly communication skills, is disorganised and cannot take any criticism; continuously making excuses and blaming the customers for everything that goes wrong, sometimes rather harshly. Reviews have since been disabled entirely.
