I typically go to this Cole location for my weekly grocery needs. I find the staff members quite lovely, from helping get a shopping cart, to processing item exchanges, to getting rain checks for out of stock on sales items. This location is reasonably well stocked with good item assortments, I'm quite happy with their assortments on weekly promotions too.nnCheck out is fairly efficient with both self service and manned check out lanes during busy hours available.nnThe overall shopper experience at this location is positive and meet my expectation so far.
The Centre has deteriorated immensely over the years. It now seems to be dominated by cosmetic-type outlets and eating places. Gone are places like the Telstra shop, nice clothes stores, continental delicatessen and pet store, which were all very good to have. It’s a great pity.
Worst customer service experience in Coles Pines. When I went to enquire about an issue at the customer service counter, the staff member named Rhonda had a very poor attitude. She behaved unprofessionally and was repeatedly shouting. As a customer, I asked my question politely and expected the same respectful behaviour in return.nThis behaviour is not acceptable.
I was at Coles Pines on Tuesday night 28/10, just before closing around 9:50 pm. It was the third store I’d been to that night trying to find a particular item - the first two had empty shelves and didn’t even bother to check!nnAt Pines, I met Ella, a tall and lovely team member who was restocking shelves. Even though my item wasn’t there, she kindly offered to check out the back and really went above and beyond to help. We ended up finding one, and she even organised a rain check for me.nnGood customer service like that is rare these days.nElla’s beautiful smile and positive attitude honestly made my night. Please pass on my thanks to hershe was an absolute angel!
I had a very disappointing experience at Coles Pines, Doncaster. The customer service was extremely poor and unprofessional. In particular, the customer care staff member Ms Rhonda and the store manager Mr Michael were rude and dismissive when I raised a concern.nnThe situation became more serious when I discovered that expired products were being sold. When this was pointed out, there was no proper apology or customer-focused response. Instead, my concern was not handled respectfully or professionally.nnI expect much better standards from Coles, especially regarding food safety and customer care. This experience has left me very dissatisfied, and I hope Coles management reviews staff behaviour and product quality control at this store.nnSam Abraham.
