Calm, well stocked and just a lovely store.nThe older style building is open, spacious and has lots of natural light, and because the store is a bit older, without self checkouts, you get good customer service.nnI hope they never change this Safeway at all. Lots of character.
Cary's and Tillie are just the best workers! They have so much fun with the customers and are so sweet. I came in the other night with my kids and they are the nicest employees and are great to have a conversation with! They are so nice and bring a smile to everyone’s face ! One of the best checkout experiences I have had !
I was in your store on 17 October and. I bought 3 sausage meat tubes to make sausage rolls for my daughter ,there was about 10 left so i cooked them ,the fat that came out of them was extraordinary, but it gets worse I also bought 2 packs of plain beef sausage s and I cooked 1 pack in the air fryer and there was literally 1-2 cup of fat I had to tip out . These products were good up to about a year ago so I think something has wrong somewhere . I felt guilty feeding them to my grandkids. This is the first time I’ve written anything like this before
I had a very unpleasant experience at this Woolworths store. The staff, particularly an old lady at the counter, were extremely rude. I purchased an item yesterday and returned today for a refund, following the refund policy clearly stated on their website, which offers a full refund. However, the lady at the counter pointed to a small note stuck on the counter claiming they don’t offer refunds at this location. When I showed her the policy from the website, she responded dismissively, saying that this branch does not offer refunds. I was shocked—does this Woolworths operate under different rules?nThe way she and some of the other staff spoke to me was disrespectful, even using rude language. There was absolutely no customer respect. After a long argument, the manager came over, saw the policy, and approved the refund. Yet, even with the manager’s approval, the staff member continued to argue and reluctantly processed the refund with an incredibly bad attitude.nnThe lack of professionalism and customer service in this store is unacceptable and completely inappropriate. Woolworth will lose its customers if it continues to hire unprofessional and rude staff!!
Went to check out, young girl on her phone leaning/sitting on the register/till… then sees me waiting and starts to scan food with not even a hello.nnThen her friends/ co workers some in to buy stuff wearing uniform and they have a personal conversation in front of me, young girl saying “can’t wait to finish work I’m so over this and over these customers”…. All three of them laugh and still chat about their hours and money/wages and they don’t get paid enough for this… and she can’t wait to finish uni. All in front of mennShe completes my transaction and just hands me my receipt I had to lean over the till to get my bag while they kept chatting, I left without a even receiving a bye, have a good night or see you latter…nnSorry but training in customer service should really be worked on in this store.nnOnly reason for the one star was the fact i got home in time with no traffic.
