Before leaving this review, I noticed that several customers have already raised similar concerns about the same staff member, “Debb.” Unfortunately, my experience was no different. She consistently shows no respect and often speaks in a very rude manner, with a negative attitude that makes customers feel unwelcome. I was genuinely shocked by her behaviour.nThis kind of conduct goes completely against Woolworths’ values and its zero-tolerance policy on disrespectful or discriminatory behaviour. While most people will continue shopping at Woolworths, I strongly suggest avoiding any interaction with this staff member — it will certainly leave you feeling upset, no matter the situation.nI have already reported my experience to the management team and hope they take this feedback seriously. In my opinion, she does not seem suited to a customer service role. To be honest, it feels like she doesn’t even enjoy her job, and her attitude risks driving customers away from returning to this store.
Young Man named Greg served us and was super friendly, efficient and Exceptionally patient all the while dealing with a belligerent customer who wanted a ‘discount’ on a box of coke.nI’ve worked in customer service all my life - pls extend some praise to him.
The DEVON plaza Woolies is my favourite supermarket, very friendly & helpful staff . But the roof needs urgent repairs, today you not only needed your umbrella up outside you also needed up inside too!
This is the saddest, depressing Woolies I have ever been to. The design inside and out is stuck in the 80s with no self serve checkouts and usually only two open. A 12 items or less and a normal one with short conveyer belts and old school checkout number lights that are never usually on. If you enter from the left side you won't find any trolleys and baskets are minimal and hard to quickly locate. If you enter from the right you might find some trolleys but not many. Plus the aisle layout seems mixed up. On the left is the minimal bakery section/deli with some dairy based products like cheeses. Then a few pantry aisles with weirdly a refrigerated section in the middle with some dairy again butter, ice creams, etc followed by the rest of the usual pantry aisles and split personal hygiene aisles with the shampoo section next to the small fruit and veg area. Then in the far right corner is ANOTHER dairy section, this time milk based products with toilet paper on the opposite wall next to fruit & veg. Weird and illogical layout. The shelves don't seem to be always very well stocked but maybe I've been there on the wrong days/times. I never go there for a full shop. Just to grab a handful of essentials but will often give up on even those and go out of my way to Coles Tunstall Square and do battle in that carpark against poor driving/parking. They should just give up and turn it into a Woolworths Metro...in the burbs
CLICK AND COLLECT here is absolutely terrible, through no fault of the staff. The green paint is worn away and regular shoppers take up all the parking bays. The footpath is very narrow so people can't get past while I'm loading my boot. Strange old lady kept asking if I was done, so I hurriedly moved out of her way, but she just wanted my trolley?? There is no shelter from the wind and rain. - from a busy mum with an infant in the car.
