Back in April i reported a dead tree which was going to fall at some point. The said, We will try to get someone out by JULY!!!. It is now December and of course that tree has fallen and is lying on the ground. NO COUNCIL shown up as yet. They are also meant to mow the nature strip outside of mine and my neighbours houses as its on a dangerous curb.. They consistently mow the neighbours but leave out front of mine. Last month the guy who did it actually did the lot, this time, only partly done. Only TWICE in SEVEN YEARS have they actually done it. Grass is getting very long, but as the girl at Parks and Lands said, "Just leave it. When they go to check WHO is to blame for this, they will see it is THEMSELVES"! So so incompetent!

Multiple requests have been made by the Narin court residents regarding the gumtrees to be replaced with the same trees as other streets (exp. Zurzolo Terrace, Wottan St. etc.) but the Council don't want to respond. Whats more important to them is the rates to be payed on time and who cares if the residence of Narin crt are not happy and complains. This problem costs us money (replacing the gutters that gets rotten from the gumtree lives, broken water pipes from the roots, replacing the lifted concrete from the roots thats becomes tripping hazard, disgusting front yards and street, the list goes on). Imagine how will the street looks like if we clean the rubbish from the trees once a month, same as the council truck that cleans the street from the leaves/rubbish. This is how Narin Street looks now, and this is how Zurzolo Terrace looks (see photos ). Judge it for yourself.

Spoken to a few of the ladies in customer service here, some are lovely and go above and beyond, some are just plain rude. If you don't like your jobs, maybe don't look for work in customer service.......

I had a spare moment this afternoon so drove up to the City of Whittlesea Recycling Facility to unload 1 cubic meter of green waste (tree branches). On producing my rates notice the attendant asked me for my drivers license ID, showed her that, and she said “Nah - cant let you dump here, your ID doesn’t match the rates notice”, I explained that the house is in my partners name. The attendant replied “She’ll have to come here then!”, I said “She’s at work and 7 months pregnant, do you really need her to come here?”. Attendant “Yeh, and make sure she brings her ID”. It seems the Council must assume we’re all out there stealing someone else’s rates notice so we can “illegally” dump some tree branches !! …… EPIC FAIL Whittlesea Council – which idiot thought up that rule ?. As a suggestion why don’t you make the Recycling Facilities optional on our rates notices, say knock off $200 a year for not using the RF ??. I for one would gladly forgo the “service” !!!

Got $78 parking fine. Had appointment with doctor, appointment went over due to unexpected circumstances. Doctor have confirmed and provided certificate for council to review. Why council offer a service to review an infringement notice if you're not going to be reasonable? Low life bottom feeding scum. One star out of five, because Google won't let me post zero.
