Have had to speak to the council,on several occasions recently, re drainage problems. Always found the staff most helpful, and pleasant. My problem appears to have been resolved. I think some residents expectations on what the council should do, and the time frame that they should do it, are way too high. People are not sitting around waiting for your call to attend to trivial matters. Just because you pay rates doesn't mean that council staff are at your beck and call. If this is the service you demand, and expect, be prepared to pay a hell of a lot more.

We pay over $3000 p/year for rates and they cannt even provide basic customer service assistance. Shame!!

Can we change the name to Eltham shire council. That way these idiots can stay as far away as possible. Lazy, money hoarding crooks who pretend their not in the pockets of developers. If they aren't, their just gutless self centered workers who will never stand up for their entire community. Just their own small patch. Good bye green wedge!!

The way they've dealt with north east link has been great. From a residents view. It's real important and I don't like being at meetings. They made it come through Facebook which was great and the mayor is really strong in supporting us with the corridors that wouldn't wreck the green wedge. Great work and thanks

All they care about is getting paid. Find another job if you're not willing to help people in need. Absolutely disgusting. And the most disgraceful part about all of this is that not 1 person can take responsibility. Hope you're all happy.
