Chatswood has changed over the last 25 years. It is now full of various shops, entertainment centres, theaters, restaurants, fast food areas, etc. Twenty five years ago, there was the library, the Our Lady of Dolours school churches, Hoyts movie theater, shopping malls, sushi train....now, too many shops and businesses with foreign writings on them without English translations. There is now a Pergorming Arts Centre and is now very crowded, although the train station and bus stops are orderly.
Vibrant place on weekends.. Bus station, coles, woollies, RSL club, Public Library, Commonwealth Bank branch, shops are nearby.. Hair cutting saloon owned by Koreans next to the station is good for your pockets with amazing and polite customer service.. Indian grocery store is also nearby
Only 2 staff to service 2 tables at the time of weekdays around 12:30pm -1:30pm. some customers had to wait to pay and a few groups have decided to leave instead of waiting. Obviously service was minimal as the result of staff shortage.nThe food waiting time was approx 20 mins . Portion of Appetiser dishes were pathetic being served 15 mins after order had made, only 4 dishes were served and portion were tiny for 3 of us.nnWe ordered lunch set A and set C.n-Radish slices on beef rib were off ;n-Pork cutlet , the crumb was crispy but meat was meh;n-Spicy noodle soup couldn’t eat that chunk of noodle without a bowl of noodle soup which I needed to pay 1 dollar extra.nnNot going again.
An Asian food area with all the nice Asian restaurant like ippudo, Akita sushi, 1 ton noodles. Recently just open Amah by ho jiak so it's something I wan to try next.
Nice and energetic,one of the most happening interchanges, love the vibe and the eating options almost for everyone from coffee to food The entire range available at the interchange along with Woolworths Metro on the other side makes it more realistic.
