The Galeries, is a trendy and vibrant shopping mall that offers a high end shopping experience in the heart of George St Sydney.
The complex is accessible via the one of  underground connector malls at Town Hall station.
Fantastic and reasonably price food available...including Indian, Japanese and modern Australian cuisines.
My favourite place to eat or have refreshments at The Galleries is The Grounds of the City. A spectacular recreation of a bygone era...be transported in time and soak up the the vibrant atmosphere as you indulge at breakfast, morning tea, lunch, brunch, afternoon tea, supper and dinner. You will be well cared for by their staff as you enjoy sumptuous food and beverages.

A very smart, stylish shopping destination which is always a cultural experience too. Over four levels of high quality international and local retailers. Also a range of services including cafes, restaurants, hairdressing, a dental clinic and optometry. The Galeries also has frequent art installations supporting cool emerging artists. Easy access to the Galeries from George Street, Pitt Street and well as underneath access into Town Hall Station.

A good selection of ships varying from Gorman, to The Grounds, to a fantastic Japanese restaurant on the top floor that is worth the wait in a queue. Fashion and bookstore is a little pricey but sometimes it's just nice to go in and have a look. Underground level has a great selection of takeaway with a massive area with modern seating to eat, and walking out of this area will take you to town Hall station access level. Lack of lifts for wheelchair and prams makes it a little difficult but I think there is one set of lifts hidden off the George Street entrance that will assist.

Nice select of shops. Food, clothing boutiques both men and wow nice, and a lot of eclectic shops. Fun place with public transport at the door.

Close the hub of the city.

Has an amazing range of Asian eateries with a burger joint upstairs. Good shops to spend time with family, friends and even alone. This place is also home to one of the best physical bookstores in Sydney. Doubles up as a good place for Japanese resources as well.
