The Marrickville Metro that I see now is a great place for all to go shopping eating mingling in a multicultural setting and I grew up playing in the old factory that was here when I was a child so it resonates with me so much and the old Rocket up the road at Enmore park must be at least 40 years old since I was playing in them.
I love this shopping centre especially the original section which has a real community feel . And I love the recycling wall. Today though I was using the toilets and noticed that they had those awful artificial scent sprays by Initial on the walls. I am asthmatic and was in disabled toilet . They are also known to be carcinogenic!!! Please remove them so toilets are accessible!
A great and spacious place with plenty of restaurant and shop options. My only suggestion would be to add more lighting in the parking area, it’s very dark at night
Busy centre but loads of variety and free parking which is a bonus. The new section on Smidmore Street is nice, more spacious with some good food spots just a short walk from the main building. Can be a bit confusing to find your way around if you've never been, but that's most shopping centres really. It's bigger than it looks and has pretty much everything you need. Good spot for locals.Retry
One of my favourite suburban shopping centres however parking is changing and at night not enough lights in the rooftop car parking area can cause safety and security risks.
