World Square in Sydney’s CBD is a really good urban space that offers a nice balance between convenience, comfort, and energy. One of the things I enjoy most about it is the outdoor plaza area. It’s well-designed and has a spacious, open feel despite being surrounded by tall buildings. The lighting in the patio area is particularly pleasant—soft and inviting in the evenings, making it an ideal place to sit and relax after a day in the city.nnThe lighting display in the plaza also adds a touch of atmosphere that’s especially enjoyable for families. It creates a sense of playfulness and wonder that kids really seem to love, and it makes the space feel safe and engaging after dark. There’s enough room for children to move around while parents can sit nearby with a coffee or a bite to eat.nnThere’s a good range of shops and food options within World Square, catering to a mix of quick snacks, sit-down meals, and everyday essentials. It’s easy to access from different parts of the city, and the layout makes it convenient to navigate without feeling overwhelmed by crowds.nnOverall, it’s a well-thought-out public space that functions not just as a shopping destination, but as a community-friendly gathering point. It’s a place I find myself returning to often, whether for a casual meal, to meet up with friends, or just to enjoy a bit of open-air calm in the middle of the city
World Square is a great place to shop, eat, and have fun. There are lots of restaurants, shops, and entertainment options. The atmosphere is lively and energetic. It is a nice place for meeting friends or catching up on some shopping.
Sydney Brewery is my favourite place in World square. It’s a bar , A good place to drink , eat relax and enjoy the music and beers. Beer and cider was fantastic and it has the best taste that you’ll enjoy and you’ll keep coming back
Good place to have meal, plenty of food stores. Well maintained. Bit crowded. #ashfootprints #visitsrilanka #nsw #centralcoast #visitaustraliaash #food
Plenty of shops and eateries including Coles. Easy to find off Pitt St and George St. Black bull serves as a meeting point. Good one to put on the bucket list.
