To explain the Stockland Balgowlah shopping centre experience....nProbably the safest shopping centre in Australia, for example after hours when the core stores have closed trading you could find their doors left unlocked or their wares are left in a common area with absolute trust.nNo doubt the demographic of purple haired octogenarian's keeps the quirky stores turning over as there doesn't seem much attraction for the younger set.nIn the basement carpark you'll find a healthy stack of EV charging and the external boundaries are flanked with public bus stops if you don't drive.
Nice little shopping centre with all the necessities for the home. Great atmosphere inside the mall and a gracious parking lot 3hr free as at March 2024 as well. Visit and you won’t be disappointed.
Escalator making a very loud metallic screeching sound that management has neglected to fix for a long time. Say they will fix it with no action. Sometimes leaving the escalator running at night for us residents to endure all night. Disappointed they can’t fix their property and manage their staff to simply turn off their escalator at night. Otherwise love the shopping centre but obviously cost cutting / poor maintenance issues.
Stockland mall at Balgowlah is a handy local shopping centre with plenty of parking and all amenities and shops that you could be looking for. They have a great fresh vegetable market plus fresh seafood and fabulous coffee shops. If you have never visited worth the trip.
Our Local with everything you would need Bread Supermarket, Fresh Fish, Butcher, GreenGrocer, Pharmacy, variety shop +++ with a good cafe hangout
