If you're wondering how the renovations are going, there are currently unterminated wires hanging from the roof at head height. Food court is almost entirely boarded up. I'm sure it'll be nice when all the work is done but right now the Westfield up the road is a much better option.
Chatswood Chase is in the process of being renovated. Only one floor is accessible plus David Jones and K Mart. The food court is predominantly Asian food. No little cafes with coffee and a muffin. Pattisons is the only cafe available at present and it is difficult to find a table. Parking is horrendous!!! Stay away until renovations have finished.
The Centre is being redeveloped, fair enough. And I’m sure it will be wonderful in 18 months time. But ATM the signage to find any of the small number of businesses still operating is unhelpful. The help desk people are MIA, and parking ‍. Where is the service we are used to from a high end shopping centre? How about a desk and some people at the entrances to help us navigate the next 18months?
If I am the boss of the mall, I will fire the whole management team. They are so unprofessional. They cannot tackle the stinky toilet problem for so many years. If the customer used the toilet once, they definitely will ranked the mall at the lowest level in nearby suburbs. Although there are some good shop inside to attract customers, however the overall environment in the shop is the worst I ever seen in Sydney. This mall definitely downgraded the level and property value of Chatswood.
They are really butchering the renovations. The food court new entries are a bit shmeh tbh. It used to be so vibrant and have so many good options. It all feels a bit boutiquey and overpriced now.
