We had contacted Services Australia on 132 011 about the same issues but the problems remained unsolved. We came to the centre on 4 Nov 2021 but the only staff dealing with medicare issues was on leave. Lucky for us the one stood in is very helpful and understanding. If I remember correctly, her name is Rosalie. I've no complaints but only good words for her. She honestly told us that she didn't know how to do it and needed her "teacher" to guide her through on the phone. She was happy to go above and beyond to assist us with the problems. She literally fixed up all the issues, including some that we were not aware of, for us. One thing that the centre really needs to improve is to shorten the waiting time for people who have come to have their medicare problems solved. We had waited for 45 minutes and then needed to go for our Vaccine appointment. Seeing that all the people arrived after us had been received and left, we asked the lady at the reception if we needed any appointment for coming back later. She said no need and would fix up for us when we came back. We came back 30 minutes later but the lady at the reception was not the same person. She politely told us to wait and someone would come to help us. We had waited for some 20 minutes before this wonderful staff Rosalie came to help us. She's been very helpful, cheerful, patient and thorough. She is a gem of the centre. and thumbs up for her.
A big thank you to the two young ladies at front counter at about 1pm. My husband and myself were dealing with a distressful situation and the two young women were so courteous and helpful. Their help and professionalism was beyond reproach.
It's my first time visit Centrelink centre on 27th Jan to get CRN for non-Australian citizen and got the help from Rosalie if I'm not wrong who is friendly and helpful staff. I received CRN on that day. Came back again yesterday cause I can't upload the Centrelink form via application/online and got her help to book me in 2/2/22 which is a good day. And today when I came I got the help from the guy seems Indian but sorry I can't remember his name. So now my issue's sorted. Thanks all. You did a great job!
I went to the Centrelink/Medicare office 30 Aug 2021 and was greeted in a very friendly and helpful manner by the check in staff. A short time later I met Kelly who was an absolute delight to deal with, courteous, professional and was able to help me link my Medicare details to myGov as I wanted to be able to access my COVID vaccination details. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, a job well done. Thank you!!
Centrelink staff, namely Melinda, Ben and Leanne just wonderful. I’m slow with technology but their courtesy, wisdom and helpfulness were brilliant, please pass on my thanks to them for helping me through a very confusing time. Also the security gentleman at the door was helpful and well mannered, please tell his employer that number 081 is excellent
They've never messed up any of my paperwork like some people's experiences so I'll be generous with 2 stars, but the wait times are ridiculous. If you need to go in prepare to clear your whole day because I've never sat there less than an hour, while looking at many empty desks that could have been occupied by more staff to speed things up.
I was wanting a Medicare refund and waited yesterday afternoon for 35 minutes to be seen. After 34 minutes of waiting I was asked if I wanted to fill out a form. I said no thanks I will wait what's another half an hour. Within 1 minute my name was called and I asked if I had been forgotten about as others that arrived after me had been served before me. The lady said no it's just that they were very busy. There were many employees not doing a great deal. VERY UNIMPRESSED BY MY EXPERIENCE.
Everyone that I've encountered either on the phone or at the offices have been very helpful, polite and friendly. Yes, there are waiting times unfortunately. Remember these people are serving all of Australia. I'm very grateful for all the services provided to us.
SNF Security personal on 6/1/21 @ 11.30 is Rude How Centre link Recruit a company which has poor rating? Tax payer money spend on low quality companies He seems an Indian. He doesn't know to talk to a Australian citizen.
I was unable to change my 2 year old daughters soiled nappy while waiting to see someone due to the fact they don't have a change table in the toilets or somewhere safe for me to take care of my child's needs and then the manager went on to explain that they are family friendly I just had to laugh. How can that be family friendly without a place to change a toddler.
