I have been there Today and was shocked as the window next to me the lady at the counter was so agressive to the older lady who didnt know how to claim back her medicare rebate. This disgusting behaviour has no place in social services. You are there to help not to make someone feel little.

Dana, the customer service lady at Bondi Junction who assisted me with my age pension claim was absolutely wonderful. She was so helpful, calm, efficient and kind. Thank you Dana, your service was exemplary.

I stood out in the rain for a half hour, the only person in line, then the cue grew and we were all dismayed because it appeared there were rows of seats, spaced well apart that were empty inside, but they made us bunch up to keep out of the rain under the small verandah outside. When I was finally allowed in, the receptionist couldn't even spell my very plain common name. It was painful to watch her try when I dictated the letters but she was also arrogant and rude, I was the one left feeling humilited trying to understand her. If it is their job to deter people asking for information or help- 5 stars! I
Very bad experience. After handing in all the materials, it is the 8th week but I haven't received my medicare card. No reply at all! I even doubt if the staff has coped with it. Also, the staff's attitute is not frinedly.
Been here twice, good experience both times. Bit of a wait first time. Front desk lady was really nice and helpful
Centrelink has such a turnover of staff that one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing. My son has a disability and because he was lucky enough to find a wife they have both been penalised by having their payments cut.They will now have to move out of their apartment back into public housing or otherwise they will have to cut their working hours. Where is the benefit of trying to improve their lives.Also while I'm at it the service providers like Max employment Breakthru etc are providing sheltered employment for their workers as they are worse than useless.
Rude staff. Told me to bring wrong information in for a very simple renewal. Wasted my time. 3rd time back... Once again the previous staff member did not give me full information on what I needed to bring, again WASTE OF MY TIME.
For me Centrelink Bondi Junction is a good place to go for enquiries and benefits claim. I went their several times for different purpose each time. They were all solved very quickly.
