I've been four times, first time I was served by an extremely rude woman, second time, the man was polite but gave me the wrong information, third was a wait of five hours in a queue with cars going by honking. Fourth was a locked bathroom and a long wait with only two people ahead of me.
To be completely honest the staff member I spoke to at the office was friendly and polite but gave me wrong information I ring up to sort it out had to wait over an hour person on the phone said i wasn't who I claim to be after dealing with them I feel like I need to be in a mental hospital they stress me so much they should try helping people not treating customers like criminals and I don't want to be u unemployed or get benefits I tend to think they label all customers as dole cheats
I have been waiting 8 months for my Medicare. I kept coming to the office and the staff kept asking me to wait. They firstly sent to the wrong address and then after changing my address still no Medicare. I had to come back for the 4th time and wait, who knows when I will get my Medicare. Very bad experience

The woman, I have to say today your 'remarkable' attitude displayed a level of rudeness and indifference that I did not anticipate, treating me as if I were either a criminal or a five-year-old child. I simply wanted to resolve my Medicare card issue; it's disheartening to encounter such a negative experience at the start of the new year 2024! What's even more disconcerting is that this behavior occurred in front of my ten-year-old daughter. I believe in teaching valuable life lessons to my child, but this was not the kind of lesson I had in mind. The way the situation unfolded left me questioning the standards of customer service and professionalism at this center.
Not understand what’s wrong just waste 1 hours time for nothing. Want to offer 12pm ask me what you want just explain him my Medicare expire say ok wait we call you. After 1 hour wait call my name and ask me again just explain him again says not any more applying at office. Go apply online lol. Ask him why you not told me before that. Say go from office and apply online she was very bad can’t talk well to me. So not help me. For Medicare office manager the bed service provider name . Jessica Thank you
Jeanie at the front desk was rude and dismissive. Told me to call the help line and that she wouldn’t assist me at all and to just look online for any questions I have. Pointless employing her.
Asian lady at the counter is hopeless. Doesn’t check any details and straight away sent us out saying nothing can be done neither can we speak to anyone else in the office. She was frustrated with someone before us and tried to show the frustration and attitude to us. Hopeless place. Never go to this centre. Even the calls to Medicare are useless and hopeless! What absolute nonexistent rubbish of a service!
Absolute abhorrent treatment of everyone that walks through the door, mainly elderly customers. Staff are incompetent and don’t even know what they’re advising. For a government organisation, your staff seriously lack the relevant training.
I have been to this centre on a number of occasions for myself as a pensioner and on behalf of my son who died of cancer over a number of years.I have always found the staff extremely helpful and always resolved what was needed. Be it Centrelink or Medicare. Depending on the time of visit I waited 20 to 30 minutes if not busy. If many people waiting the longest I have waited was an hour.
