I think the main function of this office is to provide a dumping ground for the otherwise unemployable jobsworths so that they can provide solutions to problems that don't exist without getting in the way of those actually getting work done. A letter from Medicare only required delivering but in place of a post box or system of simply receiving the letter, one must be registered then triaged before then meeting an advisor to make the assessment on what to do with a letter for them which says simply hand in or post. I gave up and went to Australia Post as I'm not unemployed and only had a lunch break to play with while they faff around. I just feel sorry for the unemployed and pensioners who are forced to participate with this nonsense.
I went to this establishment with my mother and I had to return a 2nd time as I felt I had made a mistake with what I had said the 1st time I came in on the same day hence why I thought they didn’t process my mothers claim to help with funeral costs. I tried calling the number as instructed to have my questions answered but, the automation kept hanging up so, I went back. As the lady and the team leader was explaining things to us, after the team leader left, I had the other lady who took care of us earlier in the morning the 1st time around came to the lady who was in charge of taking care of us in the afternoon to just say that she already dealt with us and that she told us already etc. It was extremely rude and disrespectful. She didn’t know what our circumstances were and was quite insensitive. It was none of her business and she should’ve just stayed at her desk where she belonged and not to stick her nose in where it didn’t belong. Disgusting fake individual.
You CAN'T do anything online on Services Australia website because in the middle of the process you get locked out from your account without any option to start again.

The office definately deserves a higher star rating. I have visited multiple times over the years, due to the complexity and variability of our circumstances. The staff are always knowledgeable, polite, patient and helpful. In particular, they appropriately ask a colleague, when outside their area of expertise, or take the time to investigate an answer.
So disappointed, people come to looking for help, but they are not help , they treat people like virus, just want you stay far from them, no patience at all, even didn’t hear from your , just ask you few questions and find few pages forms and let people get out the place, very rush, the manner they asking people like you are a criminal. So disappointing! First time leave a negative review on google.
Had very bad experience today around 0910-0940hrs . Very poor and rude service in front area. Covid Marshall and the director lady; both very poor and inpatient. Only 2 people wait outside , and they only came 2mins ago~ and this lady staff said I made her waste her time~ And it actually only took 5-10 mins talk to fix my issues. Disappointing!
Most rude officers have ever met in Australia. I have been to some other center link offices as well, but they were very helpful positive and welcoming..But this people are the horrific and even after hours of waiting also they didn't do anything. When we try to do through their website it will not work and when we contact service desk they will ask to come to office and office person will say why you came?? do it through online ..
7.3.17 around 12:50 the lady who was in the help desk was very Rude. I was so polite inspite very sad with her service. Then was trying to record Medicare and Centrelink for my new baby totally they were confused and confused me as well I was then asking some questions but they were trying to send me ASAP. Not answering properly I said I am having doubt but they didn't care. Very very disappointed feel like not going there back. I know all are busy in their life but it's there job to service us.
