Falsely advertised as a four star hotel. This is definitely not, the carpets are stained, holes in the walls etc.. I tried rectifying the problem by asking reception about alternative rooms, whilst they were nice about the situation, they could not provide an alternative and said most of the rooms are in this state of repair. Maybe if I was booking a 3 star or lower hotel I would have thought this might be acceptable. But it is far from what is advertised. I ended up in switching hotels, which was the best decision I made. Would not recommend at all.
For the price paid it is fine about $110/night for a queen hotel room. Was allowed to check in very early which was appreciated. Odd to have no change of towels etc for a 4 day stay I understand house keeping is weekly but do people really use the same towels for that long. Bed comfortable enough. Air con works. Foxtel on the TV. Cinema and a GYG just outside. Buses run close by if using the local buses we did. Carpet does have a few burns and stains and the walls could do with a good scrub down. Definitely not fancy and could very easily be a lot better but it’s not as bad from my experience as other reviews suggest.
Booked for 2 bedroom apartment.. Stained sheets and dirty carpets. Walls are dated. Utensils and kitchenware are old. Couch is stained and dirty. I dont even know how to sit there. Lights are very dim. No room service. Only good location and the receptionist is very accomodating.
Dirty carpets.. Dirty couches can even sit in there. Rusty utensils. No room cleaning services, and when u ask the reception, will have a hard time for them to facilitate room service. Very dark room. Lights are very dim, my eyesight became worst.Rooms: 1/5
Good spot to stay even for a break away. BCC cinemas, a sports bar and two restaurants across plus a cafe in the building.Rooms: 4/5
Rooms very neat, tidy and clean. Everything in them needed for a great stay. Central location .... even walking distance to most popular places.. City Centre, Palmer Street and Cowboys etc
Dirty room, had mould in the bathroom. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. Dishwasher was flooded full of food and dirty dishes when we got there. When we entered the room it smelt really strongly of fish which was a real turn-off from the get-go as the mrs is allergic to fish. Real disappointing.
The room was a good size , comfortable bed and nice size balcony. Good location. The carpets in the room were stained,dirt under sofa cushions, open tea bag in complimentary coffee and tea, hair on carpets, curtains off rails.
Room was a good size and had all the facilities we needed. Check in is fairly inconvenient - having to pick up keys from a lock box outside a seperate building and then walk over the road and up a set of stairs to get to the actual apartment. Very difficult with heavy bags. Also apparently takes 7 - 10 business days to get security deposit back which is a long time to be without money that may be needed for other things.
The place was very dirty, stains all over the carpets, pillows and doona covers looked clean but actual pillow and doona were so dirty that the white colour looked yellow, the house is dark and they don’t clean it, sink was blocked and everytime you open the tap water stays there and you never can use it, we contacted them and asked twice and waited three days for them to fix it but they didn’t so we had to go buy easy drain and fix it. And just now i realised they charged us twice. We paid $1449 on booking.com and they took another $1550 after we left which we need to contact them and get refund and that’s more time to waste. Will never go back
