Absolute worst location we had in 6 weeks. Super loud near street, NO service, kitchen has nothing but a kettle, WiFi was bad, no dryer in the bath room + hot water didn't work. All that for 70 NZD, which is more expensive than most top10 holiday parks. What a joke!
Ideal for motorhome users who are getting the early ferry to South Island the next morning.nYes, it's just a car park, but it has electric hook up, water, dumpsite, toilets & showers very clean and laundry facilities.nYes, its by the motorway but that gives you quick and easy access to the ferry port.nYes, it's pricey, but its on the edge of the capital where business rates and wages will be higher - they are a business trying to make a profit after all.nSo I don't understand the people who have given this site a stinking review. You don't come here for a peaceful night with a view of the beautiful countryside - you come here for a convenient location to catch the ferry and be able to dump waste and charge up - and for that it is perfect, and we were grateful!
Have stayed here several times. For me personally it’s great. Staff are helpful and friendly, its available amenities suit me and its location is ideally situated with a 3 minute Uber ride to see my daughter and granddaughter.
Dirty rooms. Cigarette butt's, mouldy /grimey windows and pubic hair in the bath.nThe water is dangerously hot if you're not careful. Receptionist was training another lady and didnt seem too kind to her and was acting like she'd rather be anywhere else . So over priced I feel robbed.nDon't book a room here!
This is very beautiful place, i am going there 3 days in week. There staff is so kind and good attitude. I love this place because this is my second home
