Stayed in cabin for 2 nights at the end of July. The rooms are tidy and clean, the beds very comfy. Also seem well sound insulated as well, given the boisterous young family next door. Nice park-like surroundings too. The wall fan heater is very loud, so not much use at night. Worse was the shower- looked promising with new fittings since my last visit, but otherwise unusable given the two available temperature settings are 1 Ice Cold or 2 1st degree burns, with nothing in-between.
Great place for campervan. All roads are asphalt. Utilities are plenty. Play area for kids are sufficient. The only downside is there is a timer on the lights in the shared toilets and it is not very long. Don't want to get caught in the dark in the middle of the night when using it
Cabins were great. Staff at reception are friendly. Games room needs more machines that work and they don't give refunds if the machine gobbles your money. Bathrooms are a good size and clean Laundry is a good size.
Most disgusting room we’ve ever seen…. We were in one of the bunk rooms and the bunk had graffiti all over it, there was a suspicious stain in the doorway, the mattress had a large stain which was very clearly from someone wetting the bed, and there was evidence of bed bugs. We ended up sleeping in our car for the night The communal bathroom however was very clean and modern so perhaps this place would be okay if you had your own camper van or tent etc
Great place for children, the bouncy pillow is a drawcard. Very quiet. The games room arcade needs to be sorted with the company that owns them. The caricature picture, did not work and no out of order sign. Did not refund the $2. A disappointed grandchild. Saying that, highly recommend the Park. We stayed in the 3 bedroom motel unit.
It's actually a very nice setup. Being in a main city, the prices are higher Campervan powered cost me around 45NZD. There is decent distance between neighbouring campers. Spent around a week here on 2 visits, the grass has been soggy but I'm not sure they offer surfaced spots. Toilet and shower facilities are clean and of ample size. Included in price.
Okay campground. Bad location near a industrial area which boy races use to their hearts content. The noise kept us up and didn't get much sleep. The campground needs some love and care. Rotten seating and decks have nails protruding. I wouldn't stay here again
My husband and I are digital nomads, so it's important to us to have good wifi and a decent place to work. You get 5GB of free data every 24 hours, which was plenty, and it was fast wifi. We worked in the dining area, which was nice if you don't mind a picnic style bench seat. Overall a very chill, happy place.
It's all right, nothing too fancy. Probably one of the biggest holiday park we've done so far. They have a late check-in procedure which was nice arrived around 8PM
After the comment of TOP10 I just added two pictures to show what site no. 50 looks like, incl. the dump sink or what ever it is the smell isn’t that lovely ! —————————- Don’t accept a place around No. 50 close to the Workshop as the smell isn’t ok. There is a former dump station directly behind the fence. At first we were told they were fully booked an the only available place is 50. After we complained that the spot isn’t okay we got a new one in the middle of the campground. And to be honest, the campground wasn’t fully booked Our new spot No. 44 was okay.
