The nicest facilities in Wellington. The pitches are on average better even than Island Bay. The change rooms are the best, as is the clubhouse. CHEAP beer and a great view of the pitch.

Great place to unwind or enjoy a well managed grassed football field complete with artificial turf if required. Home to Petone Football club

Memorial Park is pretty much the home of Capital Football, the governing body for men and Women's football in Wellington. The grounds are shared to some extent with the Petone football club. Changing sheds, toilets usually open and situated below the Capital offices / grandstand. No food available/nearby, closest is in Petone or Lower hutt. While the main ground is a good all weather pitch ( as is a small warm up area ) there are plenty of adjacent fields/ natural grass - but these won't often be set up with goals. Can be generally used for training at any time however.
