"A beautiful, quiet garden nestled in a gully surrounded with stunning native bush. The lawns and seats are perfect for picnics, and walking tracks take you to waterfalls and lookouts. The reserve is dotted with little treasures; a waterwheel, a duckpond, a weta cave and more. Group access to the nationally significant plant collection is also possible by arrangement. It's the perfect little escape!"

Oh my goodness this place is a real gem! Manicured lawns. Information boards. A plant nursery. Picnic tables. Neat walks. Spooky bits. Historical stuff. There's even a wet cave! Its more about strolling about & getting nice n relaxed n educated but there is a pretty steep uphill section to the accompanying Frank Cameron park if you want to get a bit of fitness in. Overall this place is perfect for the whole family, from juniors to seniors. We'll worth a visit. ‍ ‍‍‍‍ ‍‍
A good picnic area with options for short walks. The waterfall track was quite beautiful. Can go with kids. However, the tracks to the lookout was quite steep. On the top there is a beautiful view. The picnic area was good to spend sometime with kids. A pond with lots of Duck is there which might interests kids. Also a small cave is there, good take photos but doesn't lead any where
Great short Park/walks!!!lLongest is like 20mins from car park! Toilets. Picnic area on Vast Lawn with heaps of shade Ideal family place close to Porirua, Wellington,Lower Hutt etc Moderate walk to Waterfall stairs included not ideal for buggies Thanks Totally recommend!!!
Percy Scenic Reserve is a hidden gem. I’ve lived in Wellington for 5 years before finally stumbling upon it. Highly recommended as a short relaxing walk through the bush!
Water fall track is only 20 mins return slightly steep at places . Has a beautiful duck pond and picnic area. Such a beautiful place .

Nice reserve with native bush and picnic areas near to central Lower Hutt. Make sure you check out the wetas in the cave and the waterfall easy 10-20 min walk
Great place to get fresh air and release your stress
What a fantastic place to visit, perfect for young and old. Bring your packet lunch and have a picnic on one of the many tables dotted around. There's plenty of shade to help on even the hottest of days. We'll be returning again pretty soon - loved it!
