Wasn’t stoked with our last stay. We’ve stayed many times over the years but this one was different. The hot water was broken at the main showers for the entire week we stayed so had to walk all the way to the front block where only 2 showers were and were always occupied. No discount for this either. $70 per night for 2 adults, 2 kids, 2 dogs at dog power site. We usually pay around $30-50 at other camp grounds but we had no choice this time as we had just sold our house & living in our caravan. Also they parked us right next to other people despite the camp being mostly empty. The main block amenities need to be upgraded anyway. The best part of this camp is the amount of spots, the jumping pillow and park, the stream right next to it with eels & trout, the walks you can do & the beach right across the road! Hopefully the management can up their game.
A beautiful spot for families. Lots for the kids to do including playground, trampoline and bouncy pillow. Grounds were immaculate and facilities were clean. We stayed as a large group in the lodge and it had everything we could possibly need. Easily could have been a 5 star review however the showers were absolutely ridiculous at 10 seconds and that is not an exaggeration we timed it while you could push the button to start it again it was just unnecessary, by all means have a timer to save water but make it a decent time frame. Also as guests from out of the country free wifi would have been nice. There was no point buying it from you when we needed it outside of your camp as well also I have never stayed anywhere that doesn’t offer this free. A laundry closer or included in the lodge would have been more convenient.nOverall a beautifully kept spot with quick bush walk through to the beach, with some minor tweaking it would have been perfect.
My wife Anissa I plus our little dog stayed on a powered site. Which we found totally adequate for our needs . Although the camp is old school they had everything The showers Toilets were spotless. Showers were limited to 4 minutes which we found were adequate. The lady in the office was very helpful and welcoming. The only let down was No WiFi even though they say it available it’s not provided . You have to go online and purchase your own . Would I stay here again ? Yes I give this a 8 out of 10nBrydon Family .
great service, we had to check in late after the ferry and staff was super accommodating. spent 1 night in an unpowered site, very quiet and maintained, kitchen and showers also great, would recommend!
Mid-winter one night stay in a cabin.nA great location by the park and beach.nEverything was spot on.nThe cabin was motel standard.nWill return.
