I popped in while waiting for a bus and at first I was a bit iffy about it because of the price, $4.20 for a small milkshake, but I got one anyway. And damn, that was probably one of the best vanilla milkshakes I've ever had. Nice cold, a good amount of vanilla but not too much, nice and thick, not too thick, but still smooth. I really enjoyed it and definitely recommend.

Whenever I head to Eastland I always come to this cafe because the coffee is always consistently excellent, and nothing ruins a cafe visit for me more than bad coffee. The food is always fresh, reasonably priced, and delicious. I particularly like their lunch pizzas and their meatballs which taste authentic, and having an Italian family I should know ;) Eastland is always busy and this cafe always has people flittering in and out, especially as it is attached to the library. You order and pay for your food at the counter instead of table service, which works favourably for a more relaxed, casual visit. Glad to have this cafe in our neighbourhood!

Open at 7am for people who work at Eastland early or take the train to work and has a great selection of healthy breakfast food at that time as well.

Most aweful breakfast experience ever. Microwaved omelette rubbery tasteless and sad.
