Food was very tasty. My slow cooked beef was soft and not too spicy. Just enough kick in it. Great taste of Malaysian cuisine.
Our first experience with Ang Ang. We have travel to many Malaysian/Singapore restaurants or eating place and so know our taste bud well. The place is beautfully decorated and make you feel you are back in home town of course over decorated with the lamps above. We ordered char kuay teow aka Fried Kuay Teow. Verdict *** generous with the prawns and fish cakes. However it lack the strong wok taste and also missing the small fried pork cubes these add a good taste overall. The fish head bee hoon soup. Verdict ***. The fish meat is generous however the soup lacks the strong evaborated milk taste. So were the food localised for the local? Do try out but prepared to pay a higher $$ for their food.
Food arrived in no time excellent service. Good value for money. Only downside didn't like the green food colouring in veg dumpling, not necessary
Food here is nice. The fish fillet soup with noodles is nice. Fried kway tiao was not bad but personally, I preferred the one at Malaya Inn. Nasi lemak was nice, Hainan chicken rice was not really good and authentic. Hor fun was not bad. Overall, food is nice.
Kway Teow and Spring rolls on Vietnamese salad were great. Scallops were bland and veggies with them were average.
I actually really like this place! Been here twice so far and both times have been a splendid experience. The interior design is truly inviting, it has tall ceilings with wooden posts and furniture to give it a cozy, rustic traditional feel. If you want a casual restaurant with still nice ambience and reasonably priced food, this is the place. The menu is extensive, catering a range of soups, noodles and rice dishes as well as seafood. Both times I very much enjoyed my meal. And most of all, the service is impeccable and absolutely perfect - friendly, lots of smiles, I look forward to returning!
Ordered food via Menulog - half didn’t turn up. The food was in the restaurant but they wouldn’t deliver it. “Not my problem” was the response. Disgraceful customer service. Took the money but didn’t deliver the product. Technically stealing.
Fast friendly service, very nice wine, food was bargain. Perfect rice, sweat and sour chicken - tasty lunch for round $12. Very good.
Nice food and very good service...enjoyed the curry laksa and hainanese chicken...
It was a terrible experience. I ordered a curry laksa. There was a cockroach in the bowl. No managers and staff explained the situation. They just moved away the food! Overall, I am gonna contact the council to solve this issue.
