Really, really well done burritos and bowl! I would say Burrito > BowlnnMy tip: be careful with the spice levels, not for the faint hearted! My wife who can usually eat very hot foods said “7 was just right”, but it sent me flying I have moderate tolerance for hot foods, 5 was exactly right for me.nnWe tried the pulled pork, recommended by a local, excellent stuff!
Holy moly - these burritos will blow your mind! Seriously, plan to pop in to this food truck and you will not be disappointed. I had the monkfish and my husband had the beef burrito. The large is LARGE so make sure you go with an appetite. They have a small option too. The chips and guac were well worth it too!
We stopped here in between Franz Josef and and Queenstown. The food is in kind of a food truck but more permanent. Parking on the street was limited but we had ample parking a couple blocks away next to a park. We had the mushroom and jackfruit burritos and they were absolutely delicious, better than burritos I've had in NYC. Would highly recommend. The attached area to eat in is very cute.
The Burrito bowl with crispy monkfish is truely perfect!nI take the big one and then can easily skip dinner : Just make sure not to mix the fish with the rest, so it stay crispy - the monkfish is really amazing!nIf you are taking into account the taste, price, healthy food choice, size etc., - I think it's the best meal you can have in Wanaka! n*I always ask without mayo, and it is really delicious as well, since it has enough sauce in it anyway.
Visited this store for the first time after the Roy’s Peak hike and was pleasantly surprised. The burrito was exceptionally good and came in a generous portion – it was practically a meal for two, yet only cost me $18.5. Such an amazing deal! The side dish, Tortilla Chips with dip, was also delicious.nnYou can place your order via the kiosk and choose your preferred level of spiciness. If you prefer to pay in cash, you can order at the counter as well. The food was served quickly and piping hot.nnI returned another day after the Rocky Mountain hike, taking my burrito to Wanaka Beach. Basking in the sun while enjoying the burrito was the perfect way to conclude my Wanaka trip. I'll definitely be back again!
