You can't just stop here once, your body will crave for more. So once you've tried their burritos, you will definitely come back.nThe beef burritos are divine. Definitely coming back on our next trip to Wanaka.
Response to the owners reply:nYou can make a tasty salsa with canned tomatoes if that helps, our local Mexican restaurant did it when we lived in the wintery mountains of Wyoming and it was great! Can also make Mexican slaw to add to it for cheaper option with minimal herbs and any kind of chili peppers.nnThe tacos were too salty for me and lacked freshness of tomatoes/chilis and depth of flavor. Not like real street tacos. No tanginess or juiciness of salsa roja/verde/pico either, no burst of flavor, just mayo based sauce. I was hoping for a little more authentic street tacos. I liked the crispy element though. My husband said the burrito was pretty good, but didn’t have much Mexican flavor.
i love tacos! i definitely preferred the crispy fish to the mushroom but both were good and satisfied my cravings
My girlfriend said she saw somewhere that this place had one of the best Fish Tacos in town....so naturally I go and give this place a try. Ladies and gentlemen....I kid you not....it ranks higher than any place between Oz and NZ!! Most likely will make any excuse in the book to come back
Really, really well done burritos and bowl! I would say Burrito > BowlnnMy tip: be careful with the spice levels, not for the faint hearted! My wife who can usually eat very hot foods said “7 was just right”, but it sent me flying I have moderate tolerance for hot foods, 5 was exactly right for me.nnWe tried the pulled pork, recommended by a local, excellent stuff!
