Set up as a streetscape from early 1900's in Burnie. Brings back lots of memories of things now no longer used. A Tasmanian tiger skin also on display

Is was a good little set up of a street. Wonderful displays of the past. Aimed for adults or late teens. But sadly the was nothing interactive for the children to engage in apart from a hopscotch and to stand near a horse and buggy. How about some dress ups, things to touch and feel and get involved in. Sadly when asked what the best part was all 5 children said the art gallery (which isn't part of the museum) as the could get up close to the pictures. It would be great if you realised that to learn and take in their surroundings children need to be involved. So glad we are locals and didn't pay to go in or we'd have been disappointed.
