I greatly enjoyed myself in this museum as the artefacts were versatile and different I learnt a great deal and recommended to anyone good for kids as well.

Great free place to visit. Donations are greatly appreciated. Diverse exhibits. Highly recommended when in Hobart.

It was a nice museum and art gallery but I'm more of a museum person and was hoping for awesome historical pieces. The museum part was restricted to a Tasmanian wildlife section and the Tasmanian tiger section which was so sad. I didn't mind the art but I just don't appreciate it enough. Idk why but I would have liked more tassy devils and Tasmanian cultural history stuff.

Fantastic selection of Tasmanian history with a mix of flora and fauna, convict and indigenous histories. Was free other than local parking so great couple days out for a family.

Great place to visit for the whole family and free entry. There is so much to see and learn. Awesome kids play area and on-site cafe.
