Awesome insight into all the history. From the beginning, through the 1978 rediscovery & current restoration expeditions. Volunteers on site with lots of info & personal experiences to share. A well curated replica. It's amazing what they took & what they used there. Well worth a visit.

Although I feel that the admission costs is too high, certainly worth a visit. Knowledgeable and very friendly volunteer staff that are very willing to share their enthusiasm of the "not so well known" incredible explorer of the Antarctic. Informative and interesting displays, including actual footage taken of the expedition. Allow 2 hours.

So many fascinating things in here. Friendly and enthusiastic staff and entrance money goes to maintaining the real huts. Well worth a visit.

Amazing to think that awesome and his team survived in such a small building in such a harsh environment. And you have to feel for the teams of sled dogs that they took down there with them as well.
