As far as mining camps go this is a decent camp and staff super helpful, food tasty and steaks cooked to order. It's a big site but accom is separate from any bar area and it's very quiet at night compared to other places I've stayed. Love the separation from wet mess and those complaining should spend some time at Labona in Belyando for comparison of cleanliness and food quality. Love staying here.
Worst camp experience! It really feels like a detention camp, the food is bellow average staff don’t care but worst of all are the rooms, dusty with dirt and hair caked on the floor. Mould growing on the ceiling. This camp should be shut down and deep cleaned, how they can allow people to sleep in these rooms for a week at a time is an absolute joke!
Great Clean and good rooms. Mess food was freshly cooked. Enjoyed the stay. Prepare for a nice walk depending on where your room is. Washing machines and dryers provided. Need your own washing powder. Has gym, tennis courts, a wet mess and convenience shop. Footpaths for runners also.‍‍‍‍‍
Absolutely the worst when checking in.Such entitlement from them. Rude, arrogant, and heartless. That’s being kind. Management couldn’t care less about your fatigue either.Arrived at 10am for nightshift after driving from home. Was told I couldn’t check in till after 12. I asked even for nightshift. What about fatigue? Reply i got was it’s not our problem. That’s my first experience, there’s been more and from talking to people here it’s a constant thing with how they treat contractors.. Any good reviews on this place is the people working in the office! Foods well…… just look
The food is awful. There is no communication between housekeeping and reception so you should expect interruptions. The rooms aren't tidy and have paper thin walls. No one would stay here on their own accord. If you don't like sleeping in old single spring beds that have had thousands of sweaty shift workers sleep in them don't stay here.
Best children's camp I ever been to
A lot of kangaroos, nice people
I didn’t like this village at all. Awful rooms, very dirty. The village is all spread out. From one side of the village to the other you’ve 20 minutes walking under the sun. The food at the mess wasn’t good at all. No good vegetarian options. The staff were nice. The only reason I put 2 it’s because of the gym. The village is equipped with a profesional big gym. A lot of the machines were broken but still I was able to have a nice training every day. I don’t recommend this village.
I’ve been staying at this camp for 3 months and the quality of food has immensely declined of late and so has the cleanliness of the camp. Prisoners get looked after better than mining workers staying at Buffel Park.
Unreal experience here. Food is absolutely amazing. Love the facilities.
