A well-sized library with clearly defined sections for both kids and adults. There is a separate, quiet area with desks for using laptops. The kids’ section is especially engaging, with plenty of books to explore and a cute train where children can sit and play.Books can be taken to read and returned easily. The library also offers ample parking within the premises, along with free street parking nearby.nnIf you want it to sound more casual, more enthusiastic, or shorter for Google Maps, I can tweak it accordingly.
Came for the rhyme time session. It's a medium sized library with a small carpark & street parking available. There are computers available for use and a kids area. What I haven't seen at other libraries is the ability to borrow equipment to use at the park next to it. This library is open Tuesday - Saturday.
On multiple occasions, I have experienced interactions with one librarian that were unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. Her manner is not friendly or helpful, and this has made the environment uncomfortable. In particular, at around 5:00 p.m., she has repeatedly shouted at patrons to leave the library, rather than communicating closing procedures in a calm and respectful way. This approach feels inappropriate for a public service setting and reflects poorly on the library as a whole.nnWhile the facilities themselves are generally adequate, the overall experience is negatively impacted by this librarian’s lack of professionalism.
Beautiful big modern library! Good range of books and magazines and newspapers and you can also borrow sports equipment handy to use at the park and sport space across the road. Nice range of indoor and outdoor seating and the 24/7 library locker is so handy as a shift worked for collecting and returning books after hours. 5 stars!
Many libraries in the BCC are very good. This one is exceeding expectations as you can rent sporting equipment and there's a beautiful train for the kids there!nnAnd thank you for having the library open late on Wednesdays.
