Wonderful library, has multiple different types of spaces for different uses: booth style seating for collaboration or joint study, bench seating facing the beautiful garden outside, individual seats for quiet reading on your own. You can even borrow toys to use in the park outside. Lovely space for young and old and the librarians are always there to help. One of the best suburban libraries in the area.
Chilled vibe. Great help from the friendly librarian. The book I was looking for has now been ordered for pickup at Annerley library next week. Better late than never!
Holland Park library is a rare gem as it is comfortably surrounded by parks that cater to younger children and older adults. They have some equipment that I suppose can be borrowed to use in the park. They have an extensive fiction collection and their mini bus at the kid's section is a wonderful surprise for my neurodivergent children. The librarians are approachable and accommodating. They also hold free workshops but hurry as most places are taken.
Nice library in-between great Brisbane city parks. On site Parking is limited.
Always service with a smils here! Great kids area...very welcoming
Excellent Staff, cannot do enough to assist. Good venue for BCC Library courses/info sessions. Good reno, now very modern. My only observation is that the range of novels is light for some authors - Michael Connolley, etc BUT I do often order from the BCC online library
A lovely library with such friendly staff and good reading material. As a retired librarian I love this place
They've made this library really welcoming and the garden area is nice to. One of the better librarys to use.
Beautiful library and a nice and relaxing place to study or do work. The facilities are of high quality and well preserved. All of the machines work. There is also a bike park. Car park is spacious and convenient. Staff is extremely friendly
Good selection, helpful staff, nice patio area at the front with several tables and chairs for people to sit and read or write. Little conference room handy for talks on community concerns like the NDIS.
