I feel so happy to share the experience with Department of Transport, Greenslopes. I went to get a proof of id, and the receptionist provided me with all informations and gave a form. The staff is so polite, kind, and supportive. They proceed me quickly with a given ticket number. Seating arrangements are comfortable and well air-conditioned area. The location is quite amazing, just opposite of the bus stop or 70m away from another bus stop. I give 5/5 for this wonderful support from the Transport department.
Thank you Li for help and guidance while availing the services. It was totally new things for me and she helped me a lot. She stayed extra time to get the work done for every customer after me. Organizations need more people like her. Thank you so much
I wanted to share my recent experience for anyone who might be feeling apprehensive about sitting their Learner’s test at the Greenslopes Transport and Main Roads centre. I had been avoiding sitting my first test for years.nnMy instructor was Andrew, and he provided clear, concise instructions throughout the test. His calm tone and accent were incredibly reassuring during what is naturally a very stressful situation, and it made a big difference to my confidence on the day.nnI’ll admit that the number of negative reviews I read beforehand had me feeling quite anxious going into my test. However, my experience was very positive. The key takeaway is this: if you don’t come prepared, you won’t be successful.nnI completed two 2-hour mock tests with Ace Driving School highly recommend Stephen P. This preparation was fundamental to my success, as I asked as many questions as possible and practiced in my test area whenever I had the chance. This preparation clearly paid off - I completed my test with NO ERRORS.nnA few examples based on comments I’ve seen here: Yes, you need to know what lane to be in to follow a direction—they won’t always tell you. Don’t ask obvious questions like which way to go at a left-turn-only lane. Don’t assume you’ve failed just because they’re writing things down. Don’t tailgate. Pedestrian lives matter- always keep a look out. Shoulder checks are extremely important. Don’t speed at all—there are no warnings! It’s all common sense, but need practise.nnIt’s also important not to be harsh toward the instructors. They assess a large number of people every day. They don’t want you to fail, but they also won’t pass you if you’re not ready—and that’s fair. They’re there to keep our roads safe.nnThe biggest hurdle is your confidence.nnThank you to Andrew for his professionalism and calm approach, and to Stephen P at Ace Driving School for the excellent preparation and support. I truly appreciate the guidance that helped make this experience such a positive one.
I had a driving test yesterday with Lynda, she failed me as she accused me of rolling on a stop sign when I know I didn’t. I remember stoping completing and looking both ways twice, having a good look at what cars may be coming my way. After I proceeding to go after stopping for about 5 seconds she told that I had rolled on the stop sign. I denied but she persisted that I did.nnWhen I first met Lynda she greeted me horribly, her attitude was terrible and she didn’t seem happy to see me at all.nnShe barely communicated with me during my driving test as well. This all caused me to have a manic episode and end up in emergency. Going through the reviews about Lynda and seeing people have similar experiences, I don’t know why she still has her job.
I was helped by Lilli T at the Department of Transportation in Greenslopes, and she was absolutely amazing. Super friendly, efficient, and made the whole process so easy. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was sorted quickly and smoothly.nnIt’s rare to find someone who’s not only fast but genuinely kind and helpful too. Customer service was 10/10 – thank you, Lilli, for making my visit such a positive experience!
