Met my expectations 3 stars. 12 service desks and a clean and tidy waiting area. Dedicated cleaner sanitising areas and socially spaced chairs. Didn't take long to get my drivers licence renewed. Staff were professional and helpful. Current aggregated score is about 3.6 stars. I think it sits closer to 4 rather than 3 stars, so "rounding up" my score to contribute to it sitting around 3.8 or so, overall. Will be going again. If you are looking for it, it's actually on the outside of the shopping centre South West side.
The waiting area was packed with people. A few seats were vacant but there were many more people standing. I expected to be waiting for a couple of hours at least. That was not the case. Staff must have been working industriously as I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. I was served quickly and courteously. Thank you.
Took my practical driving test today, 10th of December 2022, and I’m so glad that I passed. Contrary to some reviews that I’ve read about this centre, the staff are very pleasant and accomodating. From Jess, the sweet young girl who assisted us during the sign up, Karen, my very friendly and fair driving examiner, and another friendly and patient girl working at the front desk whom I forgot to ask the name. There was a technical issue with their system when they were processing my licence transfer and it took a while to get fixed, but the front desk staff didn’t give up until she completed my transaction. I’m so pleased with the kind of sevice they have provided and I really couldn’t ask for more. The least I can do is give an honest review.
Queues were unbelievable, but if you have a chat with a few customers, its not long at all the customer service to get a ticket was nice too, time consuming on the wait time to be seen tho, 45mins it took me to be seen, once your there, its pretty quick, should you have your paperwork on hand. Customer service when seen was also very well mannered, pleasant, very helpful. TIP: go when it first opens, queues start forming as the day progresses and it gets longer...car park on site, didnt look around long enough to see what this place offered. Hope this helps anyone going there. Cheers
0 stars For a department that has “Customer Service Centre” printed in size 72 font on the front of the building. I did not feel in anyway a customer. Instead I felt humiliated and as though I was a nuisance… Maybe I’m just sensitive, but I don’t think anyone deserves to feel as though they’re the ones making the staff’s day difficult when asking for help. My suggestion going forward would be delete the “No’s” and the “not my job’s” and replace it with a “Yes, If” to work with the community rather than creating animosity and sourness.
Very slow. See the line of people here outside the gym, they're actually lined up to get into the transport office which is around the other side of the building. They never have enough staff on at this location. My friend and I decided to do a little experiment. I dropped her off to wait in this line and drove myself all the way down to the Logan Central transport office where they have 12 staff on counters going at all times and I was served faster than my friend. Come on Greenslopes hire more staff please.
I understand that this is a busy time, but extremely slow moving queues leading out to the carpark? No staff in sight to triage customers. Typical Queensland Government incompetence, I shudder to think how they are going to manage when the Olympics arrive!
Honestly the best tmr in Brisbane. I just rego'ed my bike and car today. The service was quick/friendly, so with the right approach y'all can have the same interaction. Honestly a lot of these other reviews are out of line because customer service is hard people, and some of y'all are an absolute mess, I mean look at yourself as the problem seriously... Anyway, thanks GS Tmr
Postmodern absurdist purgatorian hellscape film featuring Sandy Dennis and Jack Lemmon. First day open after Christmas, my licence just expired, it's my birthday. My bladder and I wish the custom plate Christmas gift recipients would eff off home and pop back tomorrow.
Visits to the department of transport are usually transactional interactions and I never imagined myself writing a review but I hope this review brightens Judy’s day the way she brightened mine. Despite the 100s of customers the DOT turn over each day, Judy took the time to treat me like a human, not just another number in the queue. Customer service is a demanding role and I truly appreciate the time taken to look after me.
