excellent service and a great range of boots and work wear

I went in to buy a new pair of boots for work last week. I talked to the store assistant and he showed me some really nice boots that fitted nicely. I told him that I do a lot of work on roofs and that for that reason they need to be just the right fit walking on corrugated iron is hard on the feet. I wanted some time to think about it not spending $175 on boots every day so I told him I'd be back. Two days ago I returned. The lady serving me seemed to be in a real hurry to get me out of the shop. I needed boots so I tried to be quick, and found my size. The next 2 days I had trouble staying on the roof with the boots, they definitely aren't  "slip resistant". I'm not new to the job. These aren't my first work boots. Just to make sure it wasn't a particularly slippery roof I swapped boots with a coworker. His had the grip I am used to. So today I rang up, asking what we could do to resolve the issue. The guy answering the phone would hardly let me finish a sentence and kept repeating that  "all Australian tradespeople know that you can only wear Volleys on roofs". I politely informed him that he is mistaken, I work with plenty of roofers and other solar installers who wear a variety of work boots from all kinds of brands. He just kept interrupting me repeating his thing. When I asked why I wasn't told so when I bought them he had no answer. When I told him my coworkers boots are fine on roofs he said I should have bought the same. So not just Volleys now??? Anyway. I'll have to keep the boots as the people at Bootsco don't seem to see that they advised me to buy the wrong shoes for the job in the first place. Will definitely not be back and cannot recommend them to anyone. It appears they don't know what they are selling. And definitely not how to treat a customer.

Super helpful and friendly staff. If they don't have what you need and they can get it, they will. Both my partner and I buy work gear from these guys and have both had equally pleasant experiences! Good quality and great service!

Great people - great service - i don’t know what the Chris P, review is about. Doesn’t at all sound right me - I’ve been dealing with this shop for 10 years now - for both of my companies, fitted out many staff.  Always given great service, correct advice and I will be shopping there for years to come.  #thanksbootscoteam.

Bootsco at Noosaville are great. We are a small business but still like to have the professional look with shirts showing our name and logo. Although we are only small time the staff treated us like we could have been a bigger business. Bought the shirts and had the embroidery work all done through Bootsco....................and the final product came up looking spot on. Thanks to all at Bootsco Noosaville.

discrimination was disappointing! Wont be supporting this business again. Hopefully learn about human rights to stop turning customers away.

Service i get from Ann the owner is seriously as good as it gets. Her shop is well stocked and laid out with a nice ambience. They've got a few different coloured hi vis too.

I went to get work clothes  for my partner,  they didn't  have what I needed,  I spoke to an elderly lady and she ordered what I needed.  I will get a phone call when they have them in stock. Nice lady.

Love the range of workwear and boots for every body size and shape. Always helpful and confident staff.
