Body Mind Breath Yoga, teaches Iyengar yoga in Ivanhoe
Strengthening the body and calming the mind
All classes taught at Body Mind Breath Yoga are in the Iyengar yoga tradition, with an emphasis on alignment and structure using props such as blocks, straps and bolsters when needed. These props allow people with limited flexibility and/or experience to get the most out of the various postures.
Patrick, Susan, Eleneth and Edward have studied with various Senior Australian and overseas teachers. They have also studied at the Iyengar Institute in Pune India. It takes a minimum of three years to become an Iyengar yoga teacher.
All props including mats are available at the studio. (You are welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer). It is preferable to book ahead and ring the mob number of the teacher whose class you would like to attend since numbers in each class are limited to 10 students. No card facilities - cash only $20 per class.
