BIG W at QV is a really handy store right in the Melbourne CBD. It's located on the bottom level of QV, at the corner of Swanston and Lonsdale Streets, so it's easy to get to when you're already shopping around the city.nnThe store has a good range of everyday essentials, clothing, beauty products, toys, homewares, stationery and plenty of other things. It's a convenient place to pop into when you need something without having to travel out to a suburban shopping centre.nnI also like the location because there are plenty of other shops, restaurants and cafés around QV, so it's easy to combine a BIG W visit with the rest of your day in the CBD.
Queen Victoria village sits on a vibrant junction . With anchoring Woolworth supermarket and big W. It's has a few nice restaurants around the open garden area , a food court below that and a supermarket below that .nIt's full of life and vibrance. Very positive area with a good mixed of patrons.
I can see there are changes in the store. They need more then that to get the store running successfully. First the staffs need to have the right mindset and understanding the main purpose working there. To serve in order to convert the products into a sale transaction to make profit.nI went in the store shopping for an elderly lady. Have all the pieces I needed. Got to the register, wanting human service. Approached the guy in the green shirt. Can he get someone to help put the sale through for me. He say no. But I saw him serving someone at the register before me. Pointing to the self serve checkout and ask me to do it myself. Turn his back on me and continue chatting.nI am not supporting or spending money in a store who is not out there to make money. I decided to leave all the pieces on the register bench and leave and he turn around to just stare at me. There is endless stores in Melbourne who has the products to match the amazing customer service. Your store fail very poorly with your attitude representing Big W at QV.
Heaps of stuff on sale here. I bought some pants and they were on sale too. The store is big and easy to find things. It looks clean and the staff are helpful.
Big W QV just got a makeover and it looks awesome! Bright, fresh, and easy to shop in! Heaps of choice and the staff are super friendly. Definitely worth a visit! Such a big improvement.
