Myer Melbourne

Long established upmarket department store. Always impressed when I walk in the front doors of Bourke Street. So happy they have kept some of the old look and blended it with a modern look. Extensive product range and well staffed. Felt it was over represented with homosexual staff, but if that’s their policy.

Came to Myer Melbourne and its sale time. Wandered around for a browse with the good wife and kids. It's pretty chaotic here. The mission was to find a pair of black low heel court shoes with a strap. Such a pair of shoes does not exist at Myer. Big heels, yes, low heel, no. Sandals, yes, court shoes, no. Plenty of stuff on the sales tables. Makes you wonder what their buyers were thinking if they can't order plain simple work shoes for women. I'm glad men's shoes are same year in year out. Such a nightmare trying to get something normal looking. Today the hunter gatherers had no success at Myer. Thankfully we walked next door to David Jones and was able to get something reasonably normal and formal enough for work purposes, so the good wife didn't go home empty handed.

We would like to place our commendation for Rachel at the Review section who exhibited excellent customer service. She went above and beyond to get a dress size which was available at Melbourne Central store and not available at Emporium store Most staff at Myer are known for their attitude and poor customer service but thanks to Rachel who was just a temp changed my feel about shopping here. Leadership team please award this staff since people of this caliber are scarce and rare to come across Thank you Rachel for providing us a beautiful experience

Good place to go for shopping. You can find different brands under one roof. Good for men, women and kids. You have different verities in range if products.

Having rung Menswear 10 times so far in the last half hour and getting no answer, seriously is there anybody working there today? I know the store is open, as I checked the operating hours. 8 times ringing through the automated system, obviously doesn't work. Twice through the direct line (thankfully provided by one of the Womenswear working. At least one department actually has workers in it) did not work either. So I shall assume that the Menswear department is closed for the day. Customer Service has failed here. Hopefully you do know what Customer Service is considering you are in the industry of it.
