Kmart truly lives up to its reputation as a one-stop department store for just about everything. Walking through the aisles, you’re greeted by a vast array of products that cater to a wide range of needs and preferences. In the home section, you can find a delightful variety of dinnerware, cups, and plates. Whether you’re looking for everyday kitchen essentials or something a bit more stylish for special occasions, Kmart has it all. The selection of kitchen appliances is also impressive, with everything from toasters and blenders to more specialized gadgets that make cooking a breeze. Moving on to the home decor section, Kmart offers an extensive range of bedding and bedroom accessories. The selection includes cozy sheets, comfortable pillows, and stylish duvet covers. There are also plenty of decorative items to give your bedroom a personal touch, from chic lamps and curtains to beautiful wall art.nnOf course, no visit to Kmart would be complete without checking out their clothing selection. The men’s and women’s apparel sections are stocked with simple, trendy, affordable fashion for all seasons. From casual wear to more formal outfits, there’s something to suit every style and occasion. Kmart is a versatile and convenient shopping destination that offers an impressive range of products at great prices. Whether you’re shopping for household essentials, updating your wardrobe, or looking for the perfect home decor, Kmart has you covered. Highly recommended for its variety, affordability, and convenience.
Had a bad experience at Kmart Melbourne CBD. Staff have no idea what they are doing. I was sent the wrong way 3 times when looking for products none of which they actually had in stock. Not only this but I wasted additional time looking for staff as they were seriously understaffed on this Easter Sunday just been. I also mistakenly bought a jumper and took it out with an RFID tag on it. I thought this was my mistake however at the self checkout there was a screen asking the worker to come over and checkout the item. In hindsight the reason for this would have been to remove the tag which he failed to do, and only scanned his card so I could move to the next screen. I will now have to go back to Kmart Melbourne Central to have the tag removed which I cannot even guarantee they will do as I no longer have the receipt. Overall a very poor customer service experience that has and is going to continue to waste me a lot of time. Now that Target stocks the Anko brand I am considering making them my clothing store of choice as I have had similar experiences at Kmart Chadstone.nUPDATE:Came back on Tuesday April 22 to get the tag removed and had a better experience. Security guard had the tag removed at the door without fuss. +1 star for his service and efficiency. Other staff also seemed a bit more switched on.
Many products are not in stock, so i tried using click & collect. The pick up station is on lower ground. The package is already sealed so you can't really check it, thankfully the hairdryer works fine.
Kmart on Bourke St in Melbourne CBD. The sheer Nostalgia I feel when I pop in from time to time and still see Erky and Perky the famous Cockroaches from the early 2000s TV series. Head down to the basement and on the Left you will see them.nnTrapped in a hellscape of Lint and filth build up in the PVC side screen, attached to the escalator. Next to the ton of hair ball and Dust bunny excrement that has been allowed to build up in the Children's bike rack, yes folks. This store should be closed for a week and DEEP cleaned and disinfected.nnThis location was originally a TARGET and in my brutally honest opinion, has not had a thorough clean since the Rebrand.
First of all, this place is full of dust. The moment we got inside this kmart, I had an asthma attack due to the lack of cleaning. It appears that no one has even vacuumed the place. I would suggest maybe to put an effort to at least the surroundings before someone really have a severe asthma attack becuse of the dust. I won't recommend this place unless you guys put an effort cleaning the surroundings.
