We spend 2 nights during April 2024 school holiday with kids and friends in 3 Bed cabin. Cabin were well maintained ,great facilities with small play ground for kids. Meals from cafe was great, nice and friendly staffs. Its great farm stay with availability of campground to cabins, animal feeding and milking cows was hit with both parents and kids. Horse riding for kids was amazing and memorable and if you want adult can have ride too, after class. overall we did have great time and hope will be back again
We had a fantastic time camping, great facilities and lots of free activities which were fun for adults as well as children. My personal favourite was the butter churning and making damper, then washing it down with a billy tea. The location was beautiful and easy to get to. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back again.
We loved our camping experience here. Great location, kids loved all the animal interactions and excellent service. If you are camping, the sites didn't feel super cramped even though it was a busy time. Tip in peak season is book activities ahead of time as they fill up fast. Will definitely go back. A great weekend away! Sites were nice and spread out! And toilets close by, with access to showers. Activities were great and very hands on! Kids loved the animal feeding and the old school playground. Will be back !Service: 5/5
Beautiful area away from the city. Great facilities. Welcoming staff! Animals so cared for. Great horse riding/trail riding experience. Kids had an absolute blast, and we as adults had downtime from our busy lives.Rooms: 5/5
We stayed on an unpowered location over the long weekend. We were blown away with how great our time was. We only love 50 min away and have driven past so many times. Location is beautiful, space is enormous and the activities put on for the kids are fantastic. We will be back!Service: 5/5
If your looking for a place with fun activities for the kids and plenty of space to camp this is it. The staff are lovely, accommodating and informative. My son loved feeding the animals and going on a number of the horse riding activities. The restaurant food was yum. The prices are worth it for what you get ... We need to remember it takes money to run these places let alone make a profit.
We had a wonderful time at Bestbrook. So many fun activities for the kids and adults!, really friendly staff and the cabin was well equipped and cosy. Lovely scenery and bush-walks to enjoy as well. Will definitely be going again!Rooms: 5/5
We had been to Bestbrook Mountain Farmstay 20 years ago with our children and last week we extended our stay with our children and grandchildren - 16 of us in total... What a great experience then and again now. So many activities for every age and gender, Fishing, Animal Feeding and Milking Cows, Damper making and Billy Tea, swimming and the favourite for all was the Horse Riding. We were a little nervous with the horse riding for the children but the staff running the lessons were amazing and very patient with the little ones. Cabins were suitable for all of us, and all were airconditioned. The kitchens in the cabins were all well equipped with everything we needed to cook all meals for all - we did however have dinner in the restaurant one night and the meals were amazing - real country tucker, staff amazing and portion sizes HUGE.... If you are contemplating going, I would highly recommend. Thank you to all the Team @Bestbrook - more memories for us to cherish.
What a great experience. Felt like home in the country. Lovely property and amazing food in the cafe. Horse riding was heaps of fun, my daughter and I loved it. Nice weekend getaway, thanks all the wonderful staff that made us feel right at home.Rooms: 5/5
