I had a great first-time experience at BCF in Fyshwick. I went in for a gas cooker and had no idea what to consider etc. An employee, Chase, spent quality time with me, was patient and answered my many questions, took the item out of the box to ensure it contained what I was after. He was a legend - the kind of guy you'd like to have a beer with. lol. Amy, the store manager was also a legend. Great service all round. Honestly, customer service seems to be a think of the past, but this place is Brilliant, Customer, Friendly fun - BCFing fun! #sorrynotsorry ;
Extremely knowledgeable staff. I went in there looking for some dancy lure that they didn't have but instead got reccomended with amore basic lure. The owner helped me catch 4 Australian salmon, 2 tailor 1 pb 61cm tailor a dusky flathead and a snapper on my first day of fishing at the coast. He helped me find little spots. He even gave me the tip off of getting the BCF membership which helped me save $80 bucks. Cheers mate thx for ur work
Just another bad experience.nI've had to return the same chair twice and each time they're focused on whether the chair was dirty or there was rust on the eyelets according to Amy, this was the problem. However, I have an engineering degree and also r an a rust proofing business. So I'd like to think I know a little bit about structural integrity. Unfortunately, I think the shop was lacking service integrity. The Rusty olives only hold the fabric, which had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that the metal frame structure had utterly collapsed.nIt seems to be the standard default for BCF to try and find blame at the customer.nHe creates a bad experience and unfortunately having had this happen more than once, I'm going to recommend people to shop elsewhere.nAs this particular brand of chair, The wanderer has let me down a couple of times, I was going to buy another chair and upgrade it to a stronger frame.nDue to the bad experience, obviously I didn't feel comfortable so I decided to go elsewhere. There wasn't any point in talking about it as the impression that I got was simply they were looking to push the blame elsewhere instead of creating a good experience as they like to with their sales. They were unable to create a good experience when the product had failed.nAnother thing that both of me was when I rang up she looked at my father was on the phone and said well. This is the third chair you've returned as if that's my fault.nBasically they're not taking any responsibility. The fact that the chair continues to fail and the last time it was replaced I asked if I could upgrade to a better chair and they just gave me the same chance said that's what we're going to do.
My partner and I were just served by Amy and I believe Murray? who went absolutely ABOVE and BEYOND what I would expect of staff. We went in to buy some kayaks and they helped us so much. We had never loaded kayaks onto our car before and they were such a great help. Amy in particular researched our particular J-Racks and gave us advice on how we should strap them down and both staff even showed us how to do some knots that would help ensure we secured the kayaks properly.nAs someone who comes from a Customer Service background, I know and appreciate so much that extra step to go above what would be asked of you. They didn't need to provide the help, but they chose to and that in and of itself has won us over as loyal customers. Their professionalism and willingness to share their knowledge with us means that we will choose BCF over Anaconda or anything other similar store any day! Again, thank you so much guys, we really appreciate the time you spent educating us!!
I went to bcf and had no idea what I was doing, my partner had sent me out for a sounder? I had called a few times before and had spoken to Dean, he was friendly, attentive and approachable. When I went into the store I was abruptly greeted by a dark headed woman, her badge said she was store manager. She had no knowledge of what I was looking for so I asked for Dean and she rolled her eyes. Thankfully Dean came to the rescue and helped me purchase the exact product my partner had sent me to get.
