Mess, chaotic store. Quality was okfarmers market are fresher, a bit overpricedless convenience in location, but not much price difference from coles or woolworths. More suitable for big families and parties. Love the sugar plum! Won’t recommend Grilled chicken, dried apricot.
Canberra's only Costco wholesale outlet, and Australia's third Costco. A family that has more than four people, can get the food cheaper in bulk packs. They also sell Aussie products too. Have a good shopping day. Costco has a Takeaway Foods, when you are hungry, they have, hotdogs , pizza , and many more Foods, get some. In Costco they have, two in - house production, Bakery and Butchery, the Bakery makes all fresh bread , in the morning, they have white bread, multigrain bread , and bread rolls , many more wonderful bread's. The Costco Butchery are making and cutting their own Meat Products, they will trim the meat for you, just ask, and happily do it for you . Have a car, you get tyres from Costco, and Petrol also, as a Member of Costco. Costco has much more, like television , clothes, shoes , BBQ, and more Products from Costco.
Handy for bulk ingredients however I got home and realised that the date on the tray of mince I purchased expires tomorrow! I expect things to last a bit longer than that when I'm buying bulk foods. The tyre centre also replaced the chrome valve caps with green plastic and said nothing, husband had to go back and ask for them, a bit rude I thought!
Best place to shop in bulk. Also really worth as petrol , spectacles, gold are also on discounted prices. Worth the visit. We go almost every week. You can buy anything from fresh vegetables, apparel, garden stuff, home appliances, alcohol all under one roof.
A great store for bulk buying. Try and avoid Saturday mornings. There is a Costco fuel station nearby with very good fuel prices. This Costco store has take away food such as Pizza hot dogs hot chicken in the store.
Only one in the ACT. And what's with the buying limit for eggs. Defeats the purpose of having the bulk buying membership. We absolutely hate this. Will not renew the membership if this issue is not sorted out soon. What we like: #Heaps of parking. #Tyre shop is not too busy. #Very clean. #Fresh food and bakery section. We have seen better: *Product range *Food samplings *Product restocking
Excellent. A typical Costco facility - it's huge and it's stocked with so many different products. Make sure that you do your research before hand of course. If you do, you can definitely save money by buying in bulk here. Cheap fuel outside and the hot dogs are great!
Good variety of groceries, gifts and home products at good prices. Sometimes Aldi or regular supermarket specials are cheaper and sometimes Costco wins it. I like being able to buy in bulk which often saves packaging, as well as having a decent quantity at home for cooking for the family. It's often cheaper to buy in bulk too but it's worth considering prices elsewhere. The brands and products vary but I always get a good deal when I go. There are always special priced items and I like to grab a treat from the bakery section. The roast chicken is a good deal we like to get too. We enjoy the samples which are often stationed around the store. It's a great way to try new things before you buy a bulk lot of it. The cafeteria serves quick, easy and cheap food, beverages and dessert from a limited menu. Burgers, pizza, donut balls, hot dogs, sundaes, mango smoothies and taro boba/bubble tea were on the menu last time I was there. They ask you for your Costco card at the door but my understanding is that by law they have to the optical section, alcohol section and food court/cafeteria. You can also shop there without a membership if you have a gift card or if you're a guest of a member and you use their card at checkout. The fuel is usually cheaper compared to elsewhere and is prepaid. I.e. you pay $100 before you start filling and if you don't quite use it all, the balance remains on your card and I believe can be used for fuel or the cafeteria. It may be able to be used in store too but I'm not sure as I've only bought fuel the once so far and the attendant couldn't tell me. I was treated a bit abruptly when I went in and filled up a trolley and expected to be able to get membership sorted at the checkout. I had been before with family but not with my own membership. Extra employees appeared and they took my trolley and told me to go across and buy a membership. The options weren't explained and in hindsight I would've liked the cheaper business account using my ABN. Once I'd purchased it I was allowed back to my trolley to checkout -once I'd found where they stashed the trolley, as the extra employees disappeared when I went to the membership desk. I still go there as one badly handled experience doesn't necessarily define the business.
You can get a different shopping experience here. You need to get membership, that is $60 per year. The membership holders can only use fuel, the cost of fuel little bit lower than others. The store is huge and bulk items are always available. But according to my experience with other Costco outlet in other countries, this outlet products are little bit expensive. The quality of the products are good, they provide after sales service too.
The best wholesale shop in town! We often go to Costco to buy stuff we usually don't buy in bulk in Coles or Woolworths like a box of Dole pineapple juice or a box of Shinramyun noodles. It is our go-to place as well if we would like to check out for ready-to-eat meals that are usually being served at parties or morning and afternoon teas like the sandwich and wraps platters. Costco is also a good place to get meats for barbie such as beef and pork meats, kebabs and bulgogis. You can check out their pastry section as well for a pack of danishes, donuts and affordable celebration cakes. We are also fond of their roast chicken with size comparable to the ones in the supermarket and is sold in a cheaper price. Best part of shopping at Costco is the opportunity to buy $2.99 hotdog sandwich with a refillable soda and other affordable snacks like a slice of pizza, chicken bake, southern chicken burger, Aussie meat pie, churros and a chocolate or wildberry sundae. It also gives you an access to fuel up your car with the cheapest quality fuel around Canberra. Both the shop and the fuel are exclusive for Costco members only.
