The Woolshed @ Manuka is not your normal local yarn retailer. They stock the exquisite and luxurious yarns that you do not find at the standard outlets. They stock the yummiest and the best wool and other yarn fibres. Its always exiting to browse the shelves and even better to come home with a little present. There is a great coffee shop and restaurant called la Rendezvous just out the front in the atrium. The Woolshed run beginner and advanced classes in knitting and crochet and you get to have coffee and cake and sit in the restaurant while you learn. The only negative is that the shop is quite small, so if there are heaps of people browsing the treasures, then it gets a bit crowded. Another positive is that the Woolshed is in Manuka and there are lots of great places to look at and shop whilst you are there.
