Through Airbnb, group of 5 stayed 2 nights at the cottage. Interesting unofficial building built in a completely different location in the late 1800s. Lots of character, well appointed with a lovely view from the front yard. The only reason for not scoring 5 out of 5 was the musty smell (expected in an older home) that could be removed with an air freshener/ conditioner.

I do try to stay positive but my cabin is nearly falling apart.

Place is clean and tidy. Owners seem nice, although they were away during our visit. No WiFi.

We were very comfortable here and enjoyed the old-fashioned ambience of the lodge. We had private bathrooms so felt quite pampered compared to others. Our main positive experience was that one of our party (a youngster) lost his holiday money at the lodge and Lorraine and Brian tracked it down for us and sent it on. That's personal service and so thoughtful. We were really impressed and very grateful.
