Excellent room with a gas fire and a nice view of a large pond. Wombats and wallabies right outside our window! Big breakfast buffet with good food. Good access to walking tracks and shuttle bus just across road from hotel. It's on the pricey side compared to other accommodation nearby but if you can splurge for a night or two it's enjoyable.

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed it. The service was second to none and the food options were good. The buffet breakfast had everything you need and the restaurant and taven had a good range for lunch or dinner. Perfect for romance and what you need after hiking all day.

We were only able to have lunch at the Tavern Bistro as accommodation was unavailable on our visit. Can highly recommend as food was delicious and service from all staff outstanding. Be sure to do the enchanted forest walk which starts or finishes at the side of the lodge.

Great location. Superb food. We even had a couple of wild wallaby came to our back door to say hello. Will stay again.

Definitely worth to stay if you want to see wildlife animals, such as wombat and wollby. Breakfast are included, and have various food. Location is great for many cradle mt short walks, and the interpretation centre is just 200m away. I would love to come back again in the future.
