Absolutely Fantastic Food! The Scotch Fillet doesn’t get any better! My mates lamb shanks were perfect and my other mates Chicken Curry was spot on! The food was the best I’ve had their in 20 years! The young waiter works hard. Ten out of Ten!

We traveled all over Tasmania with friends last November and had a great time ... except here.  The proprietress, Helen Monk (as I found from the website photos), may have been having a bad day, but treated us very strangely, first when we asked about our reservation, and then later when I asked, since she was in the restaurant, if she were the person who could give me the Internet password.  She actually chose to humiliate me in front of her guests, who laughed uncomfortably --- and added an unpleasant comment about which door I chose to exit the room.  We had planned to eat dinner there, but because she was so unpleasant to us, instead had a wonderful meal at the Great Lake Hotel, with friendly, helpful staff --- where I wish we had lodged as well.  The Great Lake Hotel was much more attractive, and we were welcomed and well served there.
