The food was fresh and tasty, the staff was polite and friendly, the place was nice and clean. No complains really! Definitely a must stop-by place on the way to Port Arthur, or just as a place-to-go from Hobart. Lunch starts at 11am, not 11.30am so it's possible to do an early lunch before heading to Port Arthur (about an hour away), which was what I did!

We went too early and the restaurant wasn't opened yet, so we just ate at their shop on the ground floor. Packed with loud and obnoxious tourists made our experience less enjoyable than it could have been. Not the fault of the restaurant/shop, but the sea food selection was not so good either. The oysters were not as fresh and sweet as we expected. There are definitely better oyster restaurant options around Hobart.

Staff was friendly, views very nice. Food was okay, probably not the best you can get but average. Unfortunately it was terribly hot inside the restaurant even though it was freezing outside. We would have ordered a desert but they kept ignoring us and it took them 20 minutes to clear the table so we decided not to.

Finally found the time to visit and so glad I did. The restaurant is upstairs and there is a lift if required. The meals are delicious and though I'm not a lover of oysters, they do have a good variety of seafood meals. The view from the restaurant is stunning.

Cheap oyster, great quality. If you just want a snack of oyster just before heading to the airport, take it to go. It's better price to take out than sitting in the restaurant.
